@@Amaking10000 that’s not true. We handed you the ball back too easily when all our midfielders were committed too high up the pitch, but in fairness your passes on the counterattack were sublime. Ours were generally too slow. We dominated possession but ultimately that’s what Utd want their opposition to do. It’s a shame the VAR intervened for our disallowed goal. I’d have been surprised if Man U could’ve gotten a win if that wasn’t overturned.

Well this has aged well. Will be great to see Bent in a United jersey. To be fair, he wasn't good enough to play for us but as a pundit, he needs to learn to put emotions aside when on the job and judge objectively, not subjectively. The fact is, while Arsenal were on a 5-game winning streak, they were flattered by the fixture list. Their first test and they came up short. You love to see smug Gooners put in their place lol.

OK, as a United fan, you bring up their fixtures, yet we got beat 4 nil at Brentford. They've won 5 out of 5,before today, playing class football. Bent is funny af, was a class striker and speaks sense. Leave him be. Still buzzing we done them though.

@@TheRhinog24 , yes, the man is funny. But, like with Robbie of AFTV, he was running on emotions when he made his predictions, not with the facts. The fact remains and has been proven. Arsenal hadn't played anyone of real worth, prior to United. And they were exposed today. Yes, we got spanked at Brentford, that was a shambles. But even the most myopic, blinkered fan should see that comparing that side and the side which it has evolved into, is like comparing apples to jet engines. United are willing to scrap for a win now and we have the class to compliment that graft now. And that is why we won today. Again, we didn't play especially well, indeed, for large parts of the game, Arsenal dominated, but the passion was there.

@@tolkienfan10 to be honest mate, I wouldn't say it has evolved yet. They've only played 6 games. They've tightened up at the back, made the right changes and hit teams on the counter, and got confidence from beating Liverpool. Don't talk like they're the finished article. Arsenal controlled large periods of that game. It's against the smaller teams where we're going to have more of the ball where they might struggle. Need a defined way of playing when in possession, something they haven't really had since Fergie left. When they do this, they'll of evolved.

Personally as an Arsenal fan this game will be a very big test for us. United are not amazing but they have started to defend well and are dangerous on the counter. As long as Arsenal put a shift in and our wide players have great games I am comfortable Arsenal will beat Man U.

We are improving game by game but now up against the most in form team in the league, who have been on this journey for 3 years. It won't be easy. 'easy games' includes a Crystal Palace that were 2-0 up vs Man City, a Leicester that Man Utd laboured to beat, a Fulham that drew with Liverpool. Aside from maybe Bournemouth at home there's no easy game in the league right now, as proved by only one team being on a 100% record right now. Man Utd are playing better than the Brentford and Brighton games but I will enjoy Arsenal spanking them.

I was hoping Darren Bent could make a good argument, so many good points he could have mentioned. ManU surely are gathering some winning match form but they aren't convincing at all. Also lets look at all the games not just last three. And even though Arsenal have been by far the greatest team in all the matches they've played. Outplayed oppositions, if only you saw the games. Given full fit squad, this Arsenal team would wallop any teams not in the top 2. But with very recent injuries of many starting players it may exactly not be the case, but still Arsenal should win.

With Zinchenko and Partey out, I wouldn't be surprised if United got a result. However Arsenal are in form and a thing reporters don't comment on is mentality, there's no stats for hunger. United are a wounded animal trying to find confidence, they will run into an Arsenal team with the exact thing they are looking for. Despite the technical and tactical gaps being closed by key players missing, Arsenals mentality will overwhelm and stop United's momentum in it's tracks

i think once you win 3 in a row conceding only 1 goal and still have to add your star midfielder to the mix you can say you have your confidence back. Arsenals injuries + the game being at OT is enough for me to think United should be favourties here. Will be interested to see how Arsenals mentality is if they go down early away from home in a big game like this though.

The gunners last loss in any match was in May, the loss which denied them Champions league. Injuries and goals down won't help United stop this train. A result isn't out the question though

On the other hand, although i rate him, i think martinez will struggle against the physicality jesus like he did against toney. Remember only Liverpool and City have scored more goals than us this season. I think you should be more worried about your own defence

I do think it'll be tight and won't be hugely surprised if UTD win - especially if Odegaard is out. I do think we are getting a bit carried away as fans, but we have definitely improved a lot and there is a big mentality change, but Sunday is a huge test and our moment to show our mettle.

I would still pick Garnacho over Elanga and Rashford. and give playtime for Zidane Iqbal and Charlie Savage over Fred and Mc Tominay. These are talented youngsters and as Mourinho says, these players are assets of future. they need to give gametime and developed, guarantee that they will perform better than Fred and Mc Tominay.

This happens every year. As a rational Man Utd fan, I see very little difference between this and Ole other than a slightly better defense now that you’ve taken Maguire and Shaw out. Our best “performance” was a counter attacking display against a battered Liverpool side missing its entire midfield almost. Leicester and Southampton are both poor sides and we did not play well and scraped the result. As long as arsenal don’t allow us to counter a bunch, Rashford/Bruno/ and elanga will be absolutely useless. Game has a draw written all over it, as I just don’t think arsenal will be able to break down our back line either especially if Casemiro plays.

As a Liverpool fan, I think United may be slowly turning things around. You have a good manager. However I think there'll be a ceiling with what ten Hag will be able to do and inevitably he'll be sacked in a couple of seasons. He also doesn't seem to have much rapport with the players. Nothing will change until the Glazers go but you know that already.
