I played this song on when I proposed to my wife in Whistler, BC, Canada. On February 20, 2018 she said yes. Today we are laying on our patio in our backyard looking out at our pool and slowly dancing to this beautiful song with tears in our eyes. I saw him in concert years ago, and he wrote this song in memory of a friends daughter who passed away at the age of 4yr. I appreciate the beauty of this song having been inspired by the loss of a loved one... quite moving.

Had the lucky privilege of seeing him live at the Iowa State Univ. M-shop in what I think was 2008 since Gates of Gnomeria had just come out. Maybe 75 people there, and I spent the whole show with my mouth gaping open. I specifically remember him playing Rylynn and Africa, which just blew me away. His melodies evoke such specific emotions that I don’t think any other artist I’ve heard comes even close to.
