Great show! Andy is by far my favorite artist. Honestly I found his music right before Uncomfortable. I’ve been in recovery for almost 7 years I was struggling in areas with connection with God again. His music helped teach me a way to connect again. Seeing his show in 2016 was so amazing the speeches between songs about connecting to God was simply amazing. My selfish prayer is one way to say thank you to him.

@29:26 This is so true and the beautiful thing about our relationship with Jesus is that the more we pursue him with our heart, soul, and mind the more Jesus’s upside down way of life becomes rightside up to us. The more we become more like Jesus the more the thing Jesus would do becomes the first things we would do. It’s not instant but progressive. This is what renewing our mind looks like. When my mind is renewed in Christ it will behave more like him in different situations.

I had a hard time following the biblical talk, though i feel like you were both communicating something important for young people to hear. I really love the flow of conversation and how real you both got about socialization and vulnerability. Authenticity in all of our parts is so necessary for connected and loving relationship bonds. Thank you both for doing what you do and for being so candid.

Great interview! Talking about sanctification. One of the best sermon series I've ever sat through was about the Ordo Salutus and sanctification is last in that. Thinking about Philippians talking about that which he has begun he'll see all the way through in 1:6. It really allows for room for the ugly to be progressively worked out. Our bad habits aren't immediately gone (at least not in many cases) but struggles help us understand God much deeper and come to that ultimate perfection that we experience in heaven. Doubts, wrestling with our faith, and hard times are necessary to ground us in our ultimate faith.

Great Show! I love that more people are speaking about the importance of therapy. Therapy changed my life as an adult. I thought I had it figured out but therapy showed me otherwise. My truth was painful but coming to terms with things , some subconscious, elevated me. My life is truly FULLER as a result.
