The background or pass game choices was an option for Mass Effect with the Dark Comics doing the art work and stuff for it. It was a couple extra dollars but it was in Legendary Edition. I expect a similar thing here

Great preview/discussion. Been a DA fan since Origins and was a bit unsure about this game at first, but Andy has me a bit more hyped. Especially since he's also a Mass Effect fan like me lol

I am super excited. I've always played on console too, so really don't understand DAO only fans. The overall world and story are amazing. I can't wait to see what happens.

Game looks very good. Imo I think they should do away with the heavy purple theme. Too much of a kill the Justice League reminder with all the glowing purple crap lol

I really enjoyed origins and Da2 and i think inquisition was alright. This game looks really fun,though, I cannot wait.

Imo Dragon age origins only fans should play inquisition at the highest difficulty on PC it touches on all the tactical combat issues most folks have

Dragon Age 2 and Inquisition got progressively less tactics heavy. It was to be expected. I'm just excited to see more of the universe tbh.

I’m a massive Mass Effect fan. So for me this game coming this year and looking good so far just means better things for Mass Effect for me. Means it could be coming sooner than originally anticipated cause I think most people thought this was an early 2025 release not a fall 2024 release. But I will probably try it out and help support BioWare so Mass Effect can be supported from this.

You don't understand? What's so difficult to understand? Tactics in DAO. Look I understand that games are getting more modern. Shit needs to get modern, true. But don't harp on and say that this is no different than DAO, or you don't get why people hate on it and such. And shame on the haters who are thumb down bombing everything DATV related. The things we love are evolving, they are being made to suit more modern audience. You hate it, move on. Let other people enjoy DA. We all can just hope that they have what makes Bioware games, bioware games: character and story. And don't compare this with Baldur's Gate 3. Only a handful can even be on the same playing field with BG3 (DAO being one of them).

I agree i mainly feel sorry for DAO fans. BioWare is no longer making those types of games and DAO fans keep losing their minds but they just need to learn to move on. Atleast they have games like BG3 that tries to mimic that style of game they enjoyed.

I watched the trailer hated it I watched the gameplay it looked ok then I watched and found out it's a mission based game it's not my thing but what got me hating the game was every character is pansexual I would not be as bothered if 1 or 2 went that way but all. Now this is sickening to me, it's a game for the W generation and being not from that side of insanity I don't think it's for me.

Maybe I’m crazy but I get a more horizon vibe where it’s hyper realistic but fantasy inspired. I don’t like it at first but in action it’s growing on me.

This is a wild comment because from what I’ve seen the Pride Demon fight has been universally recognized as a good looking fight to play. That while the design of the Pride Demon isn’t good the pace of the fight and how it works is good.

@@arlaux I have no idea where you seeing those things, I see the opposite.. the fight is a visual mess and the color bloom is all over the place, there is 0 dragon age in that boss fight. Asmongold has an example, but among many others, already did video breakdowns of the fight, it's total ass

@@arlaux Mate we straying from the topic. Maybe you don't like Asmon, you can see Cohcarnage and a few others, just gave an example, although I personally do like Asmon. But anyway at the end of the day we can agree to disagree but to me, I saw 0 Dragon Age in the game, what I saw was a fantasy Fortnite. It's all around horrible, at least for me.
