The US Open is the final Grand Slam of the year and takes place at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center. many people feel bad for Andy not winning another slam...but him winning here in the US open, made all the world of difference between being a Grand Slam Winner and not.. He's still a grand slam winner.

That's so... true he can say I am a Grand Slam champion and that is the main thing . I think people feel bad for him for not getting more because he wanted so desperately to get more slams and he was very close to getting another slam especially against that devastating loss in the final against Federer.

More amazing was David in this match, he had an abdominal tear hence he couldn’t serve at full speed, and on the first set he broke a bone of his left hand (returnin* one of Rodrick”s missilistic serves) so you see him slicing most of his backhands (he usually does a double backhand)

5:22 feel for the linesperson, umpire, and Nalbandian. This is the moment one difficult ball call decided it all.

The lineperson was incredible getting the correct call. I don't feel for Nalbandian, he would have seen the replay after the match in the locker room. Hence, in reality he wont have any complaints.

Not sure you are looking at the right call. It was clearly in. No space between the ball and the line. The passing shot was in.@@BurnsTennis

I'm not an expert on Roddick's career, but at some point he started hitting his forehand differently, with less speed, and it didn't do him any favors

Agassi wins Australian Open at the start of 2003 and Roddick wins US Open towards the end then 21 years and counting of no American mens single champ at the Slams no one saw that coming. As a side note 22 years since the last Australian mens champ Hewitt at that level and 20 years since a male Swede triumphed at a Slam final....How the mighty have fallen.
