Wilder the greatest knockout artist in the history of heavyweight boxing? Really Joe? Ever heard of Iron Mike Tyson?? 🤔
@tccandler4 жыл бұрын
Tyson is a Top 30 knockout artist... but by no means is he the greatest. The best opponent he ever beat was Tony Tucker, and it was by a decision. Have you ever heard of Tony Tucker? No? Neither has Tony Tucker's Mom. Tyson had a string of nice early knockouts over a dozen or so bums in a 4-5 year period in the late 80's. Other than that, he was probably the biggest disappointment in heavyweight history. Wilder is literally knocking out everything in his path... and still going strong. Quite frankly, it is amazing that Fury got up from those haymakers.

I don’t know one active heavyweight boxer that has been relevant in the past 10 years that was as popular as aj,fury, Ruiz, wilder . The hw division was lacking engaging fighters. I don’t blame wilder for building up his resume to get to be the champ cause he took it away from someone and still has it (insert till this day meme) but now that he is fighting top tier and actual challenging opponents we see that he’s not as bad as people thought even though his punching power makes up for lack of skill. Shea Wager big George foreman that man was knocking out top guys in his 40s
@sheawager50084 жыл бұрын
So realistically it’s foreman, Tyson, Wilder surely. IMO I think Wilder has the best one punch power that can come at any point in the fight. It’s a power I’ve not seen as prolific as that, but I will admit to not having seen as much as George Foreman as I should have, only really the big fights he had.
@bigblair37934 жыл бұрын
Shea Wager yeah one punch maybe but wilder only throws one punch so it’s easier to dodge the others could always get you I see wilder struggling big time against smaller quicker heavyweights hunter gassiev uysk Ruiz maybe even povetkin
@sheawager50084 жыл бұрын
Hnnv Hhhnn oh I totally think Wilders gonna get his moment where he finds an opponent he can’t land on in the end. My fear with Wilder is he will cherry pick the rest of his career and take minimal risks and then try pretending he was a great. I want to see him against the likes of povetkin and usyk etc. I do think eventually he gets exposed tho. But I still think I haven’t seen dynamite in one hand quite like he has.
