Andy Timmons lit the 2017 Dallas International Guitar Show on fire!
Andy Timmons has captivated fans for nearly 3 decades, beginning with his work with the band Danger Danger. Since then he has released a long list of solo records, performed on two records with Kip Winger, a handful with Simon Phillips, as well as a couple with Ted Pearce. He also recorded a version of the Duke Nukem theme song "Grabbag" for the 2011 release of Duke Nukem Forever. Enjoy this performance from the 2017 Dallas International Guitar Festival!

This guy deserves a much bigger audience. Incredible tone, touch, melodic sensibility, and chops. Hearing Andy play is like witnessing the pure poetry of John Keats encapsulated in another form of artistry. I do appreciate that he was able to tour with Joe Satriani, Paul Gilbert, and Mike Keneally. He is also admired by other virtuosos such as Steve Vai. (At least some of the world's guitarists of renown recognize Andy's outstanding ability to make pure music.) I know; it's not like he doesn't have a following. He does. I just think that it should be 10 times larger.

He became more tremendous than ever I cannot imagine what he will be like in 10 years later, even he is guitar itself ALREADY This masterpiece deserves more views

Met this guy at iridium cafe in NYC, he is very humble. IMO he is one of the modern greats, satriani, vai, gambale, govan, steve stevens, andy timmons.

@@KaiBroham Oh yeah I've watching Martin Miller and also Tom Quayle for a while now. Talent off the scale. There's another video with Tom Quayle and Nick Jennison having an impromptu Blues jam together...it's wild.

That was a great job considering how thick and full the actual recording is. I love Andy Timmons for his pure feel for the instrument. He barely even has to see what he's doing.

Absolutely perfect, I love his albums, his tone as Steve said is incredible, he’s so underrated and deserves more appreciation, he kills it all the time
