Fantastic, fantastic, fantastic! But I am curious as to why Alan called himself Wayne when Lawrence Welk introduced himself?

did you notice that lawrence welk jumped the gun on saying hi to alan and had to say hi a second time? my guess is laurence welk messed up: i think he was supposed to call alan wayne (or less likely call wayne alan). when welk failed to do so, alan probably felt he couldn't stray from the original script too much so made a split second decision to call himself by the name welk was supposed to have called him in the first place.
