I WAS a 7th generation native of Williamson County. Franklin High School Class of 1977. Moved 100 miles to the east, rural N.W. White County. I made up 3-4 % of the population that was NATIVE!

Sometimes Franklin feels like endless traffic lights.... I work there, takes half my commute just to get out of Franklin, wait at a light, wait at next light, wait at next light, repeat about 12 times..... and FREEEEEEEEEE I can actually drive and make some ground up when I get past that last one!

As a Tennessean all my life, bless y'alls hearts. Learn from where you left. We don't really need more folks here, but if you do come, learn from and adopt the actual local culture. If you're not into that, why are you moving here? Fix the place you came from. (just my opinion)

Great job on this video! Great video/audio quality and editing. We've vacationed multiple times in Franklin and looking at northern Spring Hill for relocation.

There is not a quaint, cute little Mayberry city in the US that hasn’t had the same changes with traffic and overpopulation.

Basically, traffic is bad everywhere. Franklin is great as is Nashville in general. The one major drawback (other than the lack of much needed light rail) is the extremely high housing prices.

Sounds like exactly what I'm wanting to run from.... I feel badly for the real Franklin folks...I promise not to come and eff it up more than it already is... My search for 1973 will continue on without Franklin in my sites... I'm movin' to Brentwood!!!

Franklin was always expensive - for TN. It will always be high. You wanted a fairytale, you'll pay for that.

In the 80's private school was where people sent their kids and nothing has changed I have lived in davidson county my whole life I stay in other places mexico puerto rico sometime in the near future tn won't be where I live as for franklin outside of coolsprings mall no reason for a stop there california must and other places like it has really messed up because I can't imagine moving here on purpose I have been 2 many different cities over my travels and in no way would nashville make the top 20

I would like to move to Franklin Tennessee, I think it is a very beautiful place, most of the reasons you explain, I live daily in Los Angeles CA, and above all the excess taxes on everything... Franklin Tennessee is our next place to move...thank you for the video

#1; there's not that much traffic in Franklin though it has increased dramatically since we moved here in 2010. #2; COVID has nothing to do with the home prices relative to other areas here. #3; who the hell cares about the bus? #4; this is true. #5; don't know anything about this.

Nolensville is exploding, it’s too late to find a deal there. I think the next place that will boom is Antioch. For years it was down market and high crime. With property in close proximity to Nashville evaporating Antioch has to change. Properties will be bought and improved brining in higher paying residents. Restaurants and retail will follow.
