The sound of the water is very soothing and your upright method gets the rugs much cleaner than the folks that break their backs doing the washing flat on the ground. Hey man even if you don’t have professional equipment you can use something like a house hold shampooer to pull water out so it’ll dry faster. I did my brothers floor mats like this yesterday afternoon, brushed off excess and then just used my bissell furniture tool and got a ton of water out. I wiped it down with a towel to wick some extra moisture off and then laid it flat on my dining room floor and it was dry this morning.

Fantastic work. You could buy a $3k extractor with the same psi plus amazing water lift and accomplish the same thing with seats and floors. I own a residential cleaning company so it makes sense that I have a machine like that and can use it for both industries. Great video though, obvious difference and quick and easy.
@AndysAutoCarePlus
@AndysAutoCarePlus 5 жыл бұрын
Man that’s awesome! What’s that machine called?
@jimmyjimmy7240
@jimmyjimmy7240 5 жыл бұрын
@@AndysAutoCarePlus Well you could certainly use Mytee, look at their commercial carpet cleaning line. These machines are big man. Not saying that one person can't handle it, but it's not typical for mobile detailing. Hoses are usually long enough so you can keep the machine in a van it's still do work on a car. And the reason is so much more expensive is because typically household carpet extractors don't have the power for that much psi. The ones that have that much PSI don't have the capacity for heat. When you get an all-in-one the price goes up and up and up. The ones with high PSI are for tile, the ones for carpet you're looking at about 500 PSI with self producing heat. Ninja is another popular brand. And 3000 was low-balling it 😅. I could get you exact specs a little bit later, I'm on a job right now and it's midnight in New Jersey. I have a carpet extractor 500 PSI and great water lift. I have a second external motor to increase the power, and another unit that creates heat. It's actually cheaper than buying the all-in-one machine. If your all-in-one breaks down your screwed, this setup has different components so it's easier and cheaper to fix if one thing goes on the fritz, and as long as the extractor is kept in good condition the other components are only supplementary. It also breaks the weight down into three components which makes it easier for one person to handle, however it takes up a little more space. But with this setup you can also start cleaning carpets and tile in houses of your car customers, you can make a hundred bucks an hour or so once you get a hang of it and learn how to price. The only reason I got into car detailing because I already had most of the equipment from my cleaning company and I've always been a car enthusiast myself. For every house cleaning job I got, I also had a potential car job; free marketing 😁. Call Mytee and Ninja, look them up on Google and you'll see some of their competitors to look into as well. It's an investment, but it does amazing work and it's fun. I've seen a lot of detailers with humongous machines that are made just for cars and cost just about the same, why not be able to clean carpet and tiles also even if it's only for your own house because you don't want to get into the cleaning industry?
@AndysAutoCarePlus

Andy's Auto Care Plus how does adding an unnecessary step make it easier? Don’t even vacuum it first. What I normally do is soak with water, spray cleaner and let it soak 5min, then blast it from 2-3 in away or less depending how weak your pw is. If the matt is destroyed it wouldn’t matter anyway. Let the washer do the work.
