ANDYTHRAXX MINING

ANDYTHRAXX MINING

Күн бұрын

Join Andy Thraxx and his film crew as they embark on an adventure to get the trommel running. Watch as they prepare their equipment, including setting up the sluice box and installing safety measures to protect their machinery.
But things don't always go as planned, and Andy encounters some difficulties in setting up the equipment, and adjusting the angle of the sluice box to optimize and protect the machinery.
Next, Andy attempts to start the wash plant using a generator, but the shaker motor struggles with the power to turn. Will they need to run a second generator for it?
Once the trommel is turning at a perfect speed, they place the pump at the far end of the pond and start using it, recirculating water and getting the gravel moving through the sluice.
Finally, it's time to clean out the collected paydirt and see how much gold they've found on their first day of running the Trommel. Will they strike it rich or come up empty-handed?
Watch this exciting gold mining adventure with Andy Thraxx and his crew as they overcome obstacles and strive to find the ultimate treasure!

Get a bigger solenoid with the same amperage for the genni it will save fuel and should power your units ..your engine will not power up ..rev up bigger solenoid..its the manufacturer's way of keeping cost low and making you buy larger units the CC's of the engines usually dont grow larger neither do the generator units just the solenoids

That is so awesome and gratifying to see the water flow, and the first scoop of test dirt come out with decent gold! And that's not even the best pay-dirt yet? Wow! Great!! There are always some complications with the pumping and the generating, and sluice angle. Surely you'll have it humming soon. Keep up the great work. Can't believe the amount of work and effort just to get started. Rock on Andy! Woohoo! 🤯🥳🧠🫀💪🦾

Man I love that you are doing this cleverly, locally so you can be home, prioritising efficient work - maintenance / checking equipment properly - not just doing the "RUNTIME RUNTIME RUNTIME" mantra... but that efficient runtime and preventative maintenance - not cutting corners. I want you to do spectacularly well to show the world that boxing clever is better than boxing alot.

Hey Andy love how your so meticulous with your equipment making sure everything is maintained and ready for action even if it takes up more of your time in the long run it reduces any chance of your equipment breaking down so it’s definitely worth the effort so well done I am sure you will iron out the start up niggles and will start to reap the rewards of all your hard work and become a successful mining operation I really love watching your progress you are an inspiration to many people who are wanting to go into mining. Man, for just one scoop you are going to do great! About the screen bowing in the middle, just weld some small studs in the middle and use wing nut and washers on top of the screen to hold it down flat. That’s what I did and I saw it on several other KZfaq videos and it works great! I love what you eat doing there. Great videos, I look forward to seeing these each week. Have you thought about putting a little bit of a bend in the expanded metal and use the wood at sides of the sluice to push it flat, that way the bend should exert hopefully enough pressure in the middle of the mats where you said in video that it's needed? Hopefully you will get all your issues sorted out and will get plenty of gold for reward of all your time and effort that you put into this.

Looking good, Andy! Hope you find helpful a suggestion or two: Consider changing description syntax from 3rd person to 1st (they to I/we.) Prevent bucket lock-up with three grometted holes @ 120° drilled a couple inches below rim (keeps liquid from over-topping too.) Don't verbalize negatives i. e. Hope this works etc..., say nothing at all (or inject a positive.) Heavy pans to ya!

Andy congrats on getting to the stage where you are able to run the washplant, I look forward to seeing what you manage to achieve. Just one thing to consider, I know that you decided not to make the washplant mound higher and instead you decided to dig holes of around 10 inches to get the washplant levels right. My concern is that going forward and all the water that washes over the Sluices over the course of a normal week will actually be more problematic than had you taken the time to raise the height of your mound for the washplant. The longterm water running over the sluices will eventually make the outfeed table unsafe and you may potentially lose gold from the box. I know that you are hoping that the smaller generators will be able to run the plant and everything that you built but honestly I willbe amazed if it works that way. The size of the washplant that you built and the water system along with the shaker bed combined are going to be needing a lot more power that household generators are able to provide. It's certainly clear to see the whole thing has cost you a fortune let alone the blood sweat and tears it cost you, I just want you to succeed and hope you can get a larger generator to provide all the power you need to run everything!!!. As alway's guy's 💯% 👍 🇬🇧.

RE the scratchy pump sounds....the impeller is cast iron and it is a tight clearance between it and the aluminum case corrosion can build between impeller and back of case when sitting and actually seize up the pump it seems like it is the motor but take the pump case off and spray lube in behind the impeller let sit then turn back and forth to loosen it back up...the clearance is tight to build pressure...
