Hi Nick, firstly we're expecting a record attendance for the Ajax game tomorrow with 60,000 tickets sold (being a friendly as opposed to a competitive fixture there will be no crowd segregation meaning we won't lose any seats for separation zones between rival supporters). By the way, one of the reasons that cladding wasn't done before now is that there are certain restrictions on 'working at height', one HSE rule being that you can't have any other work being carried out beneath you due to the risk of dropped objects (tools or materials). Obviously the work on the road and other operations at ground level would have taken priority over completing that cladding. Everything has a reason and it's not always apparent to laymen 👍

I am so glad they have tidied up tje forever stones. They look a lot better. Shame about that tarmac. Im sure that will get sorted out son though.

Have heard that the temporary border security frnces around the site will all be removed by the end of April and the site open to public 24/7 after that. LFC informed me on March 13th that the location map for the Forever stones is still being worked on but will be sent to everyone who has a stone by the time the site is made accessible to the public .Still hoping that the two areas at the top of the stones which hold the LiverBird slabs are going to be replaced by two benches that are like the benches in the Forever stones area behind the main stand.Maybe they are delayed because one of the benches is dedicated to Jurgen and they are still waiting to see what honours they need to add onto the benches listing which we will not know until the end of the season .

Hi I think the tv position in the corner of the Anfield road end is going and a new position will be in the back corner above were the new seats are waiting to go in.

When I spoke to someone there on site, they said that either side of that main entrance into they were going to put some lights in, but he didn’t know whether it was to illuminate a sign or just static ones either side. That was a few weeks back we spoke.

I see that they are redoing the pavement near the Shankly Gates , I also think they are doing the pavement opposite the one being done as I can see chalk lines in the road which must indicate something must be happening. KC Imageworks has footage of cladding being done underneath the roof inside to the SKD side, the workmen are using rockclimbing equipment. Hopefully that corner terracing will be completed in the next few weeks and get those extra 152 supporters in there. Does anyone know when the hospitality is going to be opened and that RED 🔴 boarding will come down? UP THE REDS 🔴 YNWA Sparky 🍻🍻

I have commented on these remaining black tarmac areas on a few sites and it has been suggested that maybe they are left so access covers for services like gas or drainage can be fitted but if you like at entrance M for example there are 2 covers there that still have the block paving over them. Surely these remaining areas will eventually be dug up , the 2 outside the main entrance and the ones at both ends of the road as they look an eyesore compared to the rest of the road.

Sad to say, the ", half" benches, if you look, they're designed to be as uncomfortable as possible to lie down on!!!! ( or sleep on, ie the homeless.)

I think the empty sections next to the bench is for a wheelchair, I could be wrong but there’s a bar to separate 2 seating areas so there’s one seat on the end for the person with the wheelchair user

I'm not sure but it looks as if they are going to move that camera position the access now on the other side of the corner access on the anfield Road end where there is a very wide section in the last row of steps at the main stand end. Of the anfield Road stand.

There looks to be pilot holes in the facia of the stone above the hospitaliy entrance which indicates to me there will be a sign. It will look unfinished if yhey do not put an Anfield Road Stand sign up.

The original plans showed the words This is Anfield above corporate entrance, i remember.

There is another alcove near the forever stones that i think they will put a bench in. That's just a guess though haven't seen any plans or anything. It'd just make sense looking at that and the other two that already have part of the bench in.

😅 I beg to differ on the road I like the Darker Tarmac mor than the grey brick. I would be happy if they painted the grey brick a dark black so that it has a nice pop of colour

That camera position is below the line of sight of the side seating. Over £80m spent on the redesign and you think they're going to let a camera position result in restricted views? Mate the new camera position is in the middle of the top tier, overhanging where the sponsor boards are. I don't think they will remove the current camera area until end of the season as there looks like some sort of sensor/camera attached to it. Think it's possibly something to fo with goal line technology so doubt they want to mess with that mid season.

That Tarmac is likely to stay. Its a mirror of the otherside, there's 4 sections of tarmac.

It's OK but it's not to the best quality finish. Streaky coloured bricks, gaps on cladding. The main stand looks like it's been done to a better standard of finish. Look at those red bricks on the side with the unfinished cladding it's rubbish. The slowest rush job ever. Still only half finished stadium anyway.. the gap in the cladding on the forever stones sides to stands out on the zoomed out high shot (also so cringe to call them tht)..poor
