The stage was always going to be at the Anfield Road rnd of the stadium.The concourses in the new stand are much bigger than those at the Kop end so allowing the artist and support stage staff more prep room the security is easier at the Anfied Road end of the stadium rather than the Kop end. The public access out of the kop end of the ground is quicker and easier for the crowds and not least getting the trucks , cranes and stage build comes through the Kop end stand end of the ground so it's easier for those trucks and cranes to exit rhe stadium and park up outside the ground in the partition off part of the car park once they have delivered their loads and the stage is built to completion

Well....? They have to put ear plugs in, or something. Once in a lifetime experience. Earplugs are pretty cheap these days and they work great. But, I understand the interruption for the people that live close by there.

Have you got any information on the Shankly gate? And also when the concert has finished at Anfield, are they going to keep down the cover on the pitch to start underneath the roof and when are they fences? Coming off the roof

I don’t think the club actually own the pitch covering it’s Part on the concert set up so will Go when the concerts finish, the shankley gates are remaining where they are mate

The pitch will remain covered for 2 or 3 weeks after the concerts so the cranes can remain on the pitch to help complete the cladding on the roof prior to the new season kicks off. THhe pitch will need 3 weeks or so to recover once the covers are removed
