Szobo needs to make the starting 11. At a more attacking role, he will cook. Elliot is good off the bench (new energy) or instead of Gakpo. Trent is not a DM, he still can't defend imo.

Szoboszlai is a natural 10. Look at him during the euro qualifiers be played in the 10 role and excelled. We are playing him as a box to box, something he is not suited to you. Yes, he does alright as a b to b player but we should be playing him at the positon he is best at.

No doubt Elliot is in great form but putting him or Gakpo in front of Szobo if this formation comes up I would say Slot would do a mistake. Finally Szobo could be used as he should have from the first time. This is the position and the formation what they use in the national team and Dom thrives. He can do box to box but this is his natural position and this what brings out his skills perfectly just check his international games.

What did Elliott did during his few seasons at the club? Don't get me wrong i like Harvey a lot. But at the moment Szobo is a better player.

Diomande would be a cracking signing; however, I think his release clause is somewhat exorbitant. Olise would be another cracking signing, but, as you said, Craig, his injury problems are a concern. I'd personally bring in PSV's Bakayoko.

In my opinion Szobo is a really attacking midfielder, it is enough to watch the playing in the Hungarian National Team! It seems that Klopp didn’t understand it and forced Szobo in a defensive position. Hope that Slot won’t make this mistake again!

Obviously, can't read all the comments below but most I read are writing about Szobo and not a single one about Mo and Jota! One can ask a simple question: can we realistically hope to win PL or CHL with this format? Nunez is good but we can't afford to trust him that center forward position as he couldn't score in most crucial games in April. We need a center forward a natural goal machine and my pick is Lautaro Martinez if we can get him. In midfield I'd like to see an experienced star a playmaker and Griezmann despite his age can help us. Agreed, we need a right center back but, I'd like to hear our scouts are looking in Italy as Italians have always been fierce defenders.

Ya, I notice Mac Allister made passes to Trent in few games. Seems like he is working together with Trent. First time I saw Trent defending, wow that's great in Spurs game. Good work. I hope he keeps on improving in all games. Slot would need to bring in a DM if Endo is not available. Odegaad, Parley and Rice are pivot in midfield for Asernal and it work very well.

I'd be incredibly disappointed, and disheartened if Darwin were to leave. He is the one signing that has excited me, we haven't had a real number 9 since Torres (who I loved at Liverpool) and Darwin has everything, pace, power, stamina, good in the air, holds the ball up, brings other people in (his passing and vision is underrated). If he were to want to leave because of the behaviour of some of our own "fans" then I would honestly have to re-evalute how I think about our fan base and our club. It really would be a dark day, whatever you think of the lad as a baller, if our "fans" treated someone so poorly that he wanted to leave the club, I'd be disgusted.

I'd go- Ali(gk),Robbo(lb),VVD(lcb),Leny Yoro (i c him as a kind of Matip,rcb),TAA(rb),Macca(lcm),Morten Hjulmand(srsly gotta watch him play,rcm),Szobo(cam/cm),Diaz(lw),Salah(rw),Jota(st). I personally think Bradley isn't experienced enough to start, but when he does i can see him playing fullback and Trent pusing to midfield, Darwin and Gakpo are good but they have to be trained more, Nunez (st),Gakpo(lw) fs.

Arne Slot's favorite formation is 4-2-3-1. Lineup: Becker; Bradley, Konaté, Virgil, Robertson; Mac Allister, Kökcü; Bakayoko, Koopmeiners, Gakpo; Salah; Arne Slot will ditch Nunez as he is a troublemaker when he is benched. Arne Slot very much likes explosive, fast wingers. Elliot will be sent on loan. Jones, Endo and Szoboszlai are the 1st runners-up of the midfielders. With Mac Allister, Kökcü and Koopmeiners Arne Slot has excellent players who speed up the gameplay with a solid midfield that can attack and defend with extreme high intensity. Both wingers can score, are fast and are technically very gifted. I expect that he wants to keep Salah close to the goal. In the end Arne Slot prefers a lineup whereby everybody except for the GK will score goals and can move quickly and agressively from defending to attacking and from wing to the centre of the pitch.

Agree with your keeper bac4 and defensive double pivot midfield but if we don't sign another forward, then my attacking midfield 3 are Szobo,Elliot and Gakpo And up front I am going for Jota I am presuming that Mo will move on this summer for £100m as will either Darwin or Diaz for about £90m .This should more than generate funds for another CB and my preference is as per your choice, It will also allow us to bring in another forward if we do offload w of our current forward options and a good young new left back who can understudy Robbo . I think we have decent options in midfield as back ups namely Jones,Endo,Bajectic,and Bobby Clarke nevermind the possible returns of Tyler Morton and Carvalho from Hull City this summer

Don't get it twisted. Bardley is a good player but we should learn from how lost Stepan Badjetic for over a year. These are kids that needs to be carefully integrated into the team. We should get another right full back to rotate the position with Arnold while bardley comes in at intervals. He will surely get playing time. Why is ENDO and diaz not in the team.

I think the line-up is similar to yours, except for 2 positions. I think Szobo should start as an attacking midfielder and Elliott as a right winger. And they could exchange their positions with each other during the match.

I 100% agree with you on the centre back situation with ousmanne diomande, Liverpool can sign Rayan ait Nouri from wolves to provide cover for Robbo,the 10 role or CAM role can be done by 4 or 5 players and instead of Olise i would prefer Bowen from West Ham and for the striker Isak or Gimenez can come.We still need a proper dm so I would also go for Wieffer from Feynoord

At least one of the double pivots has to be a defensive minded one, if not, we are gonna be leaking chances through the middle, I like your lineup, I’d just play Maca at the number 10 role instead of Harvey and play Endo and Trent as the midfield pairing.

Keeping Alisson Becker should be without question. As far as I am aware at the moment, I think both Kelleher and Adrian could well be leaving. I have heard of Anthony Patterson at Sunderland and James Trafford at Burnley mentioned as possible Kelleher replacements but we would still need an experienced keeper on standby not really sure who Slot should get there.

Going to the Portuguese league for a CB is terrifying, especially when you could argue his partner next to him Sebastian Coates has been just as good in that league. Would rather go for a young CB from a competitive league like Pacho.

New world class player example Olise or Mbappe With our substitute being as good as the first team. Kellerher, Bradly, Tsimikas,Gomez, Konate, Quansah,Barcetic, Endo,Elliot,Jones,Salah,Danns, Nunez,Gakpo, Doak. With this you’re assured of nothing but fireworks. We need three world class, tried and tested additions at the CB, DM and forward wings. And if possible add a play maker example Kudus to make our team more fearsome and all round. With this and the right psyche the sky will be the limit next season.

If we play this team, we'll concede even more chances each game than we've already done this season. A 4 back with 2 offensive fullbacks doesn't work nowadays, unless you keep having a midfielder dropping back like Fabinho did. This team is imbalanced. 1 attacking fullback with 1 defensive one that can slot in as CB. Dynamic DM is a must. Darwin is most likely gone IMO. Salah needs to play through the middle. RM can be Dom like he played at Leipzig.
