There's nothing wrong with playing a high line. The manager shouldn't change his philosophy, he has to stick with it and then just improve the players to fit the philosophy, even if at times that means there's losses like what Spurs saw today. If a manager swaps and changes his philosophy based on the opposition, then there will be no evidence the manager is the right guy for the future if they lose and don't show any substance throughout the season.
