Thought he'd finally give Harry the service he needed but he's ended up being able to move into his space and become the real number 10/second/shadow striker, it's worked out better than we could have expected and we're lucky to have such quality players ready to step up in that absence.

I said to a West Ham mate of mine that Madders and James W-P will be the best signings of the summer and that’s being proven true at the moment. Hats off to Tottenham’s recruitment team for once. The summer business is probably the best they’ve done in years. I know Destiny was done previously but bringing him in for this season was inspired. VdV was another brilliant signing and once he’s up to speed, Johnson will slot in to great affect too. Happiest I’ve been since Poch.

Agreed the bond between players,manager and fans is best I can remember including pochettino era. And we all know how he was reverred by the fans. He will always have a place in my heart, I sat and wept with him at the AJAX champions league semi final win, really was against all odds being 3-0 down early in the second half..coys keep on winning..👌

The signing of madders is testament to Ange and his philosophy not only footballing wise but as a person. Madders is class: well spoken and good hearted. A figure like him with his confidence in his immense ability and especially the quality of his character is the bedrock foundation of a proper team rebuild Ange is known for in his club managerial career.

As a Leicester supporter for 60+ years I was very sad to lose him, but this interview just shows what a great lad he is. I and many Leicester supporters would just love it if Spurs could win the Premier League.

Leicester Fan perspective - When his confidence is high, he is genuinely one of the best players in the Premier League and is a game changer with his ability on the ball and vision. He will go through patches of low confidence though, and he can frustrate as he loses the ball too often and cost us a few goals by misplaced passes or running into trouble. Overall, the good far outweighs the bad, and if his confidence stays high, then he likely be one of the players of the season for Spurs.

I think Ward prowse is up there for signing off the season cos he’s had a great start at West Ham. I think dominik Szoboszlai who you guys brought is also a contender cos he’s started life at LFC well and if you guys win the title this year he will have played a massive role in doing so. But your probably right about Madders, at 35-40 million Tottenham have got a real bargain there. Surprised a city/LFC/Arsenal/Utd didn’t move for him. Imagine Ten Fraud paying 60 million for an injured average Mason Mount and This guy costing half the price.

I am a Spurs fan and I always liked this guy from the first second he was in the League. FINALLY we had a signing I was super excited about right away, and he's proven to be perfect. Ange a part of that too. I am Norwegian, so Odegaard plays for my other team in my heart, the troubled Norwegian national team. Pity Spurs could not sign him as well as I kept saying to Spurs fans we should when he was under the radar before Arsenal, but looking forward to James showing him what's up in an hour from now hehe.

I think under mourinho and Conte tottenham were trying to be what they're not. They're not chelsea or real madrid they can't operate the same way which is why it couldn't work long term. Ange is much more suited to spurs. Playing well without the pressure of achieving big things. That might seem condescending but it's not. No one expects tottenham to win anything really. It's a bonus if they do but they 1re just expected to fight for top 4 with quality on the pitch week in week out
