Yes! I thought Evans should have stayed on the bench. She played terrible. Mabrey kept turning over the ball so she wasn’t that much better. Diamond also had a bad game. This was coach’s loss. Cardoso was on a roll and she chose to keep her on the bench.

Remember, Staley used to bench Cardozo to when no one thought she would/should. It's something about Cardozo that causes coaches to do that. Nonetheless, she should have been out there IMO.

She used to use that same excuse too. Until finally she started Chen. So coach thinking like "ok issy making a few buckets then we looking good". But what she forgot was we was getting killed on defense! While KC in the game, Seattle had trouble scoring in the Paint. As soon as KC come out the game, Seattle start running the paint! Like she had to know that was gna happen! KC literally was forcing people to change up their shots.

I think Angel is being hard own her ownself that they lost. She said she didn't do enough today to help her team win and she said the really want the win. She doesn't seem excited about breaking the DD record. She said she not satisfid where she is at. To me TSpoon really want her to hear some good to cheer her up and be positive.

Lindsay Allen is their only true point guard. Mabrey, Dana, Chenn and Diamond are all sgs. It’s very evident that Allen is the only actual floor general.

Chicago guards are just sorry. There is no aggression in their play, nor do you ever see them drive aggressively to the basket. Mayberry just looks slow and can't make shots. Dana is just useless. They are about the only team who never has two guards scoring in double digits at the same time.

Because Cardoso needed to be defended in the first half. Don't think Reese is a priority for anyone's defense. It's not like she shoots 50% like the best forwards in the league.

Reese is always open , nobody guards her . Shocked she doesn't get a triple double every night .

Reese stayed out the paint most of the game. They didn’t know how to read her because of the way she played last game. She said she’s a stretch 4 and I think that’s what she’s committing to now. Had them confused in the first half.

They don't cover Reese because she's not a very good shooter for a forward. I think she's getting better, but for a while she was under 40% shooting. There are 25 forwards (or centers - basically paint players) in the league shooting upward of 45% and HALF of those 25 (13 of them) shoot 50% or higher.

Dana can go without a prob her contract is tiny. Izzy is really not doing anything wrong other then not knowing where she fits in, thats on the coaches. Mabrey, will likely be unprotected and made available for the expansion teams in 2025.

@@diIbertthey aren’t letting any of those three go. Dana is in an offensive funk rn but she’s a great scorer who was instrumental in their championship win just 3 seasons ago. She just shouldn’t be handling the ball. Izzy was great off the bench today. She just needs to be more aggressive. I think it would have made sense to have both Izzy and Kamilla on the floor with angel all at once in that fourth quarter. That’s on Spoon though ofc
