And Caitlin does more in terms of categories like points, assists, blocks and they have the same percentage of steals while Caitlin is respectable at rebounds. No one thought she was gonna translate well into the pros, especially not her first year. Clark on the other hand goes from averaging 30 in college to 16 in the pros. The Chicago Sky ended the 2023 season 18-22 (0.450) and are currently 7-11 (0.389) this year. The Indiana Fever were 13-27 (0.325) in 2023 and are currently 8-13 (0.381). Angel Reese's double-double streak earned Chicago wins in only 4 out of 11 games. How important are those double-doubles really with that perspective in mind? I hope that if Indiana pulls ahead in the standings, Monica won't have any issues saying that Caitlin Clark is her ROTY.

In what sports league can you lead the league in a stat as a rookie, break a meaningful record, and not win ROTY? They likely will share or Caitlyn wins it but without the politics Angel is Wemby, and Caitlyn is Chet. They both had good seasons, but 1 did something unheard of.

Angel has definitely did a great job at transitioning to The W. She has been keeping her head down and straight up balling. I believe she should definitely win Rookie of the Year

27 points, 10 rebs, and 2 blocked shots against the Storm who are the same excellent team that trounced the Fever. Reese's outside and mid-range game are getting warmed up. It's scary how quick she adopts and gets better. Look out W, a new queen is emerging before your very eyes. Aja is still Aja, but Reese will be right behind her.

Reese has a higher player efficiency rating and a higher impact score on the game than Clark at this moment. Reese doesn’t get the credit she deserves for playing some outstanding fundamental basketball, which is why she was put over the top in the all star voting by the coaches in the league. They focus on the Xs and Os and see all of those details.

Angel Reese will be this years AFFIRFMITIVE ACTION rookie of the year.

Reece should get ROTY for rebounding her own missed shots? It’s a lot of missed shots. It’s almost as if she’s padding her own stat. IMHO Clark is changing how the game is played. It’s fun to watch and new fans are there for it. She also has much more positive impact on her team. Her passing is most impressive. At this point in time, I’d vote for Clark for ROTY.

To do if based on standings is a cop out. If that’s the case, then Wemby shouldn’t have won and Chet should have. To me, it’s about overall game and performance. CCs overall impact on the Fever can’t be understated. The offense is CC whether she’s shooting or facilitating. That’s not the case withe Reese. Further, Reese’s offensive game is severely limited compared to CC. They’re both putting up historic numbers and breaking records but to me based on overall game and the better player overall, it goes to Clark.

Both Clark and Reese are exceptional rookies and both have done something that hasn't ever been done, but I am more impressed by the consistency of 13 straight double/doubles as opposed to a single triple double. Either way, they've brought attention to their sport

Lexie Brown of the Sparks just said on Gilbert Arenas podcast that CC is #1 on every team’s scouting report. She gets double teamed more than twice as much as Aja Wilson. That’s wild. Despite all of that, she’s had two 30 plus point games and a bunch of 20 plus pt games to go along with multiple double digit assist games. She’s averaging 16, 7, and 5 and has 5x more blocks than Reese. Look at impact. CC is their floor general and everything runs through her. Reese is having a great rookie year but CC is having a better year despite being the focus of every team’s defense.
