I have my teens and children do their homework up to the percent that they have interest in school. So if they have 7 points in school then I have them go to about 70%. If I forget to stop them at that percent or accidentally let them finish then I just say they were motivated that day lol.

@@PleasantSims I wanted to comment about this too.. I don't want to sound like I'm telling you what to do, but I feel like you could come up with a different reason to make more sims do their homework - I think most kids in real life don't WANT to do their homework, but they know they have to, so they do... So you could use the above suggestion, or knowledge of the sim's personality to decide if they would do homework or not. Just a suggestion!

Oo, I like this. I usually take into considering if my sim is lazy/serious and then decide if they would do their homework without the want or not. The more lazy and playful a sim is, the more their needs have to be completely in the green before they'll think about doing their work. Although a lazy sim is more likely to complete a task that they've started while a playful sim is more likely to stop if one of their needs has to be met, while a lazy sim might not do something even if they have a want to do it while a playful sim is more likely to do something if they roll the want for it. It sounds more complicated than it is, I don't have like a set number or rule about, just a general sort of guideline.

@@PleasantSims yeah it happened after Daniel and Mary Sue divorced, Mary Sue’s Parents moved in and somehow Coral and Herb’s presence made them at peace with each other.

I only started my first game of rotational pleasantview in ts2 and the twins became good friends in college and I'm disappointed it didn't last long 😔 Lilith is the one who wanted to apologise twice

@@Life_Universe_Everything I did that in my game too! They’re still in the negatives but they no longer autonomously fight each other. Mary Sue gets on with them both pretty well!

Lol I know right?! Pleasantview becomes so incestuous so quickly and it’s all because of Don and Daniel! In my current save, Don has 4 kids with Cassandra, 1 with Dina and 1 with Nina. Daniel had 2 with Kaylynn after being kicked out by Mary-Sue, then *he* had one with Nina, then Mary-Sue took him back after like 12 years when they were both nearly elders and they adopted a third kid! So both Don and Daniel have 6 kids each and now the next generation are basically all Pleasants or Lotharios!

@@HerHollyness haha oh damn! In my save Don wohooed with both Nina and Dina a day before he was supposed to marry and got both pregnant. On his wedding day, he got Cassandra into bed because she thought he will marry her anyway so it's ok but guess who ran away after that? Yep. He later moved in with Nina after she started to struggle really hard with her kids and money so that she wouldn't have to be poor. He might not be a family Sim but he still cares. But oops they were a bit unsafe and got another child, Don's only son. Daniel was thrown out by Mary-Sue and immediately moved in with Kaylynn and they started a family. While with her he had a short affair with Nina and they got a child too but they quickly ended things. He didn't want to marry again but still did it right before he became an Elder so that he could be sure that Kaylynn would stay with him and care for him. And well.. after that they got twins 😳 Also fun, all of Daniel's children are red heads and only his twins are boys. So many teen girls desperately searching for love lol

In my game I always give Dustin Angela's last name. As a fortune sim I thought maybe he'd want to separate himself as much as possible from his Broke lifestyle if that makes sense? Plus it keeps the pleasant name going

I was super excited for the rotation to get to Angela and Lilith because the Pleasant family is still one of my favorites in the entire Sims franchise. WAAAAY too many of my households in TS4 have twins, and the Pleasants are why! hahaha!

Haha what a great idea to make a jail! Though I thought it was Angela who started the fight, not Lilith - at least that's their last fight I remember, at the Dreamer house. They got in so many fights over the years though that I'm sure they've both initiated fights!

What a great episode!! I have a pandemic in my pleasantview too, and it's driving me nuts. I'm even staying with a family till everyone is healed bacause I can't deal with it anymore... I normally want to play by whims... but the one exception to the rule is forcibly repairing Lilith and Angela’s relationship. I can’t stand how much they fight. But I do usually wait either until college or adulthood to bother repairing that.

Ahh, I love how Dustin turned his life around! I just started doing a Pleasantview rotation save myself and he's actually been such a good kid around the house and rolling wants for his homework.
