I think she supports Germany... as she should.. Gas from Russia a lot cheaper than from the US. Also, having peaceful negotiations with a past foe might just prevent another war. Culturally she is closer to the US, as well as politically but business is business. This is beneficial for both countries. I do not see what's wrong with this.
