It was because Drake tired to date her years back and she pulled him away that would have been a big break for her in the industry, plus ever since she talked bad about Rihanna sometime ago her career hasn't been the same again she was blackballed in the industry by both Drake and Rihanna fans she couldn't sell records any more

Tinashe is cool but I think herself vs her music is a problem. She comes across as still trying to “find her sound”, she seems a little Disney and when she gets a little raunchy it just doesn’t fit her personality(to me). I don’t know, just my opinion, but she just seems different from her music. That makes me think she’s a little inauthentic. Just my opinion.
