This was a really great post, especially to hear your thoughts on what makes a channel worth producing. I know a lot of work goes into a vlog like this, and you have to ask yourself what the workload vs. reward must be for oneself to make it all worthwhile. When you spoke about cursing in content, I think it helps when creators - whether they KZfaq or write a blog or whatever - set ground rules for themselves. Whatever those rules are, set them and keep to them. That way, the audience is never "jolted from their joy," as you put it, Angela. They always have a base idea of what kind of experience to expect.

For me, this is the perfect kind of asmr. It is so relaxing and it makes me remember when I was a kid and I was half asleep and my mother was talking to my grandma in the same room and it was so relaxing for me! ❤️

Just stumbled upon this video tonight. I like general ASMR videos OK, but gum chewing ASMR videos are easily my favorite. Nothing gives me the tingles quite like gum chewing. I have no idea why...lol. This is one of the better ones I've seen and trust me, I'm pretty sure I've seen them all. I think for gum chewing fans, it's really just simply about ALL the sounds one makes when chewing gum... the chewing, the gathering of the juice to swallow, the swallow. I've been listening to this video on and off since the day you posted it. I don't know what it is about it, but somehow it's like the absolute perfect juicy gum + rambling video. I've certainly enjoyed a lot of your other videos, both before and after this one, but there's just something magical about this one in particular that keeps me coming back time and again. It's so very relaxing... like comfort food for the ears. So relaxing, in fact, that I've heard the first half literally hundreds of times, and the second half maybe twice... Hahaha... Zzzzzz...! :D
