Can you do a tutorial explaining more about the information we need to send to the factory to help them understand how our pins should look? It was a little bit confusing to understand what the different images you sent to the factory were for. They were for the same pin but what did each one depict and how should we prepare them?

If you're located in the US there are many pin companies here that are very helpful when sending an inquiry and are a lot less shady then questionable overseas companies.

@@angelahe Hey. A few questions. 1 I'm thinking that I will get a decent tablet, the x pen artist pro. Is that a good start? Do I have to DL photo shop or some other graphic app or can I use what is already pre installed with that tablet? 2. Do I have to download Pantone colors? Or is that something that common on all digital art media and it's just a color setting I have to select? 3. When you design a pin based on a character that is copyrighted such as the Simpsons is there any sort of backlash because you don't own the rights to these particular characters and there for can not use their likeness to make money? Thanks I'm a bit lost but would really like to just have some fun and create some pins. Might as well put my artsy skills to use.
@mistkutzuki2608
@mistkutzuki2608 3 жыл бұрын
@@irishgotee Im not the Person you asked But I could Answer Your Questions 1. It Depends- Some people Find it hard to Use a Tablet but some dont. Most of the time its Because on what type of tablet they have. • Type 1: Theres a Tablet where Theres a screen where you can see directly And draw directly Like how you would traditionally. •Type 2: Theres a Tablet where Theres no Screen to Look at And you have to Attach it to some sort of usb to a device and The Tablet, Your eyes On the Screen of the device(Pc,Desktop,Android,Etc.) and Hands on the Tablet. But It Might be awkward for some at First but You just have to explore and get use to it. I Have The type 2 Tablet And I never once got any complications And It wasnt awkward for me when I first started(3years now) So wether its a Good start it depends. And No you dont need a Particular Application to Use, You could use the Application that comes with the Tablet or You Could Download One Online Like Medibang and Many more Applications 2. Pantone Color Is Just A System where it has some signs, no., Letters ,Etc. Where If you put That "Code" It will Give you That *Particular* and Very *Specific color* This is Important In Brands and a whole lot of stuff Cause a bit of Mis coloration will cause a lot of Trouble And a whole lot of other Reasons.. An Example is You know those Imitation products? Yes thats one of the trouble The Official Product can Be Passed by as Imitation even with the slightest mis coloration. And Yes Its common In Digital Applications You just have to Explore a bit of The Applications. Some of the Applications that I will mention that have this is Medibang, Ibis Paint, Etc. (A whole lot of applications) Just Click the thing next to the color wheel With something Like This "#0000" And You can Change it To something "#F58F84" But Please *Take note* That Each Application Might use a different kind of "Coding" To Identify and Give Colors So I Advice to Explore a bit And have a bit more experience with the Application your using. But you could also just download the color(Like a Photo?) And Never delete that color file and Just Use the "Eyedrop" tool to Have the same color 3. This is a bit complicated But Lets say "You Use the Art And Make Money" If You make it Clear that the Art Isnt yours(a Disclaimer) And have asked for Permission Then I Guess yes? Like for example You Know those Anime Posters That you could Buy online? Thats an example of that But It doesnt work For Everything.. If it comes from a movie, Show, Anime, etc. And You sell the Official art For something Like a poster is fine But if Its from Other Artist's work You Cannot use it. Because its Basically Stealing and Making a profit from an Art You didnt work hard on. And for the Others Welp If its Like Your drawing The Ver. Of the Simpsons Like "Fanart" Then its fine Cause youre the one who made the Piece But the Characters is not yours in anyway. An Example of these are Stickers Online that are in a different artstyle (Chibis, Semi.etc) and you could see they put their "watermark" on them so nobody else can steal or use the art. I hope I helped a bit. Im not really best at Explaining and I hoped you see this😅. Goodluck to you! And have a great day/night!🤗

Enamel pins aren’t a DIY thing. The metal frames have to be custom made in a factory, and filled with colored enamel. You can try to make them, but unless you know how to work steel and copper into a furnace and then into a mold, and cover with enamel, it’s not going to work.
@cindy9797

I know enamel pins need to be factory-made. :P I'm just pointing out that the title is click-baity since it suggests that you can make it yourself at home. A more fitting title would be "How I Design and Order Enamel Pins" or smth.

I don't think that's actually likely on her part, lemme explain why. First of all, I'm here because I wanna start my own pin making business, but needa know where to start. I also follow quite a few accounts on Instagram, and they've all posted on their stories how they won't share their specific manufacturer, because if they do so, their pin quality will decrease and communication will worsen. I'm pretty sure that''s the same for the pinmaker in this video. So if you wanna make your own pins, I'd say go on Alibaba and find your own manufacturer. Hope this helps!
