Last month, UNHCR Special Envoy Angelina Jolie Pitt visited Azraq camp to meet with refugees recently arrived from Syria, and called on the international community to do more to assist those trapped at the border.
Our High Commissioner Filippo Grandi noted that this was her 14th trip to the region since the start of the crisis and praised her commitment to raising awareness of the plight of refugees.
