This 'EP' contains a slew of 'multi genre' songs. Not satisfied with concentrating on Jazz & R&B like Amy did in her Grammy winning album 'Back To Black', Angelina ventures into improvisational singing that is unlike anything I have ever experienced in an album before. Her intricate, complex lyrics and vocal delivery are just extraordinary.

Angelina has always been 100% confident with her singing. Now at 17 she feels comfortable letting the world know just how confident she is in life and not just with her music. A true inspiration.

Thank you for your reaction to "Diamond", one of Angelina Jordan's latest tracks from her recently released EP, "Old Enough", which truthfully has one hit after another. You hit the highlights of the 17-year old version of the Barefoot Princess, as you did in your earlier reactions to several of the songs from the EP, "Love Don't Let Me Go", and "Now I'm the Fool". Her timbre is amazing, as you said, velvet, mesmerizing - this version of her does present a sophisticated sound which evokes a range of genres, and the EP sets out track after track of memorable, catchy songs that should grace everyone's playlist. You mentioned sultry, and her voice has done that for a while, and she has put those dulcet tones to work creating songs that should be on the radio, to be honest. Thank you, and I look forward to your reactions to the rest of the songs from her EP. Each of them is a gem, as is Angelina!

Angelina, not only are you among the greatest singers in the music business, but you are also one of the greatest lyricists in the business. After about 3 weeks of listening to these songs I’ve decided to re-evaluate all the songs, as a result of my reevaluation the list has not changed. All of the songs on the EP could be number one. The first thing that I’ll make clear is that this is my opinion and as time goes on I may change my mind, but here goes. The top of my list is ‘Diamond’ - kzfaq.info/get/bejne/p7eaq6R8pq63l6c.html - this is a very powerful statement about the real start of her career.- she seems to be saying that the past is gone and this is my future. Next is ‘Fire And Rain’ - kzfaq.info/get/bejne/admWqtGknd2al4E.html - in this song she is saying that she is strong enough to face the future, and as long as the Angels stay by her side she will grow stronger and stronger. . Next is ‘Good In Goodbyes’ - kzfaq.info/get/bejne/sN95fcqmsZe-eGw.html - this is a recovery song. There has been a bad relationship, but she has learned from it and it has made her stronger. The symbolism in these lyrics are almost as good as in ‘Love Don’t Let Me Go’. Next is ‘Now I’m The Fool’ - kzfaq.info/get/bejne/bqiIdrmKxJO2nYk.html - this is a very sophisticated look at someone being jilted. I hope it wasn’t Angelina. She is so good at expressing the emotions of others that I don’t think it was her, however, the end of the song is so powerful it may make you reconsider. Next is ‘Love Don’t Let Me Go’.- kzfaq.info/get/bejne/Z7tmiryQ3566pWw.html - the personification of Love asking that even though she is placing most of her attention on her career she is asking Love to stay with her. These are the most sophisticated lyrics, I’m sure a lot of work went into this song. The last song from the EP is ‘All My Fault’ - kzfaq.info/get/bejne/sJORbLSW2czUZ2g.html - though I this song, the last on the EP, it’s still an excellent song. This is an apology for a love gone wrong, and she is asking for another try. The major comment for all the songs is that they are all great. She not only has one of the greatest voices, her lyrics are sophisticated and impactful. Her previous covers and originals are excellent beyond belief, but they don’t approach the quality of any of the songs on this EP. The songs that come the closest to this EP are ‘You Say’ and ‘Million Miles’. I want to make clear that the above comments and evaluations are my interpretations of her lyrics. I want to reiterate that in my opinion Angelina and her songwriting team are among the best in the industry.
