You have to realize that when it comes to heartfelt ballads, there is no way a 'Pop' singer, which Adele is, can match the emotion laden penetration of a true 'Jazz' specialist like Angelina, who honed her craft by listening to the greatest improvisational singer of all time, Billie Holiday. Andreas also points out that Angelina actually 'out belts' Adele in the power section of the song, even though experts say her lungs won't be fully developed until she reaches her mid 20's. Angelina has stated that, if not for Billie, there would be no Angelina Jordan.

Her age and the level of wisdom she displays is indeed mind blowing! Angelina has all the qualities of a legend, and I think in time all the world will know her. A talent like hers is undeniable.

Adele’s music video rendition of ‘Easy On Me’ sang the notes very clearly separated from one another. She sings her notes in this song with very angular breaks, while Angelina’s sound in this rendition is continuous, flowing, and the notes are more rounded and connected to each other. Angelina typically prepares you for what is coming next with the sound she is singing now and makes the entire composition a series of interconnected feelings. She leads you smoothly through the melody, adding ornaments when she feels they are appropriate; never letting your mind rest or assume what is next. She is constantly fully engaged with the music, crafting every moment; and brings us along for the ride. Adele’s music video gave me the impression she may be suffering from depression and she appears resigned that the relationship with her family is over. Alternatively, Angelina appears to sing from a perspective of hope.

This is one of my favorites from Angelina. She has so many ways to surprise and impress us. On this Adele cover, we get to hear Angelina open up that unique vocal toolkit that she uses so conservatively-belting, breathiness, head voice, endless textures, runs and riffs. All done with her effortless style. And this is live-one take. Adele is a great singer and amazing songwriter, but she doesn’t have Angelina’s vocal tools. Actually, in my opinion,no one does.

I love the ability that Angelina had to immerse herself in the soul of the song, with her usual naturalness and I appreciated her unique and fascinating way of giving it to us. As I loved also the way she wanted to reassure us about her grandmother's health, she did it with infinite delicacy and sweetness, their heads side by side almost counterbalancing the detachment that Adele writes about in the song. Her voice is truly enchanting and her ability to vary pitch, power and tempo so smoothly and elegantly during her performance is absolutely unique. She is unique, practically impossible to describe, but wonderful, always. After watching and listening to this cover an impossible number of times, I'm pretty sure that ever since her first listen, Angelina felt something very personal in Adele's song. Both in the her first video on TikTok and in this studio video, her body language, in addition to her vocal interpretations, Angelina manifests an even more heartfelt participation than usual. 💛🧡❤
