Thank you for reacting to Angelina Jordan finally. This was just the tip of the iceberg from this girl. She will turn 14 the 10th of january. She has over 100 coversongs for you to react to and she will always suprise you with her voice. She has a jazzy/blues voice with a rasp in it and she always sings with all her heart and Soul when she sings . She has done cover of great old classic jazz artists to the more modern artists today. She has cover billie holiday , Frank Sinatra , Nina Simone , Ella fitzgereld to the more modern artist like amy winehouse , lana del ray , Whitney Houston , adele , and Elvis presley and many other great singers of the classical time and the modern time. Useally new reactors start with the song «I put a spell on you» and promise you that you will be blown away from her voice in that video. Thanks for the great reaction Petra and a very lovely young lady you have on your lap today. Angelina is our special Angel. Most of the people I see posting here are Angelina fans that I run into on every reaction or new video she releases. I could quite literally fill a hundred pages about Angelina and still feel that I have done a woefully inadequate job of explaining just what an amazing person she is even if she was not the greatest singer ever. I won't fill too much space here. I see many others have provided lots of good info especially Rusty Shackleford who is something of our unofficial Angelina historian. I have beat him once or twice to the comments but not often. I have listened to and watched every Angelina video/performance (120+ and counting) many, many times. I don't mean reactions of which I've watched multiple hundreds by a great many who are ardent fans. I mean those videos released by Angelina and her fans of studio, TV, and concert footage. These are separate from reactions to Angelina. There are also many interview and rehearsal videos that are quite interesting and give a more candid picture of Angelina and her sweet charm. In the process I have come to know a lot about Angelina not just as a singer but as a person. Angelina is beautiful in every way God intended us to be. She is blessed with a warm and loving family and friends she holds dear, a treasure far greater and more important than her seemingly limitless talent. Since discovering her I have not gone a single day without multiple doses of Angelina. Whether she in an addiction or medicine for my soul matters not in the slightest. Either way I can no longer survive and function without her. Whether you react to more of her videos or not, PLEASE keep listening to her and if you should react to a second video I will hit the subscribe button joyfully.

madam, at 10 years she was already a pro. She sings since she was one and a half year old. With 6 yo she stood in a studio and did a Sinatra-Song in ONE take. so she has lots of practice.BRAVO

Thank you Petra, and happy new year to you and young Leona. So happy you finaly got around to do reaction to Angelina. How can this be real? Suggestion: Try give Leona a microphone at 15-18 months old, put on som Whitney Houston music she can sing along to. Secondly, as she gets about 3, give her an I-pad and point out to her some great classical jazz songs from Billie Holliday, Etta James, Ella Fitzgerald and others for her to listen to. Next: Book time for her to be training in professional recording studioes when she turns 5 and 6 and then you might let her take part in talent competitions as she turn 7. This was the recipe of Angelina. Maybe it will work again for a second time? :-) Seriously Angelina is just something else, a one of a kind performer IMO. She is so shure this is what she wants to do. She never get nervous. Singing is all natural to her. She sayes it is like breathing to her. And that is how she appear as well. She do her thing, and turn right back into that young natural and a bit shy young girl she is. Music and singing is simply a big and totaly integrated part of her life.

Welcome to the universe of Angelina. There are no way better than to start the new year with this true artist and a musical genious - that are just about to turn 14. This jazzy girl from Norway has the most versatile voice of any singer. She can sing almost anything. She will surprise you again and again and.... Whatever she sing she does in her own way. She never try to imitate or make a copy of anyone - when she do a cover song. She also write and arrange her own stuff. So that girl knows her shit.... In a few days you can see Angelina appear on AGT Champions. It's a weird show where singers perform up against card tricks and flying dogs - or something like that. And the jury.....well..... ... whatever... but keep in mind when you hear her singing that English is not her native language - but has learned it as her third lamguage. A good starter for you is to react to "I put a spell on you". There she was 9, but don't be mistaken by her age. Choose the black/white video of her. To all of you two: Do not have any worries - there will never be a video with Amglina which is to long...... But let me issue this: --------------. WARNING -------- Listening to Angelina can be very addictive. It can have the most severe consequences for your health - by removing stress.... Happy new year to you and everybody else....

In a few words you expressed what Angelina does and what she is about: that voice, that tone, that ease on stage. I like the way she goes back to being a little girl right after the performance. She smiles, waves at us, does a little curtsy, looking a little shy and surprised at the reaction. Angelina has a way of singing that changes the song while keeping it the same. Try A Million Years Ago (Adele), Born to Die (Lana Del Rey), two extremely popular songs that come out entirely different yet the same, now with the right emotions. It's like when a colour-blind person sees colour for the first time: same objects, same people yet better in every way. I Put a Spell on You will blow your mind like it did for everyone else. Be careful.

Thanks for discovering my favorite singer of all time. My favorite song is her rendition of Adele's "A Million Years Ago." I Could name about 30 more that are my second favorite & then about 50 more that are tied for third, but I don't want to overwhelm you. She is primarily a jazz singer, but she floats effortly from genre to genre & is the most versatile singer I have ever seen. See for yourself. Happy new year! Greetings from Norway. . I'm always happy when I see new people discover her for the first time. But many stop to react to her after one or two videos, which I hope you don't do. You have a lot to looking forward to if you continue on your reaction journey to her. I first discovered Angelina Jordan Astar when she first participated in Norway's got talent 2014, when she was 7 and 8 years old. A fan of a child. I wouldn't believed it if you had asked me 10 years ago. I have never been interested in the jazz music genre , but Angelina's interpretations of old jazz music classics has "opened my eyes" for that kind of music for sure, and in a way "touched me". In the past year she has posted some great covers of modern music as well. As many has written she has released some original songs. One of them is her song Shield, which has already been covered in a song competition. This kid has almost an uncanny way of owning the two songs you took to review "I put a spell on you" & "feeling good", both made classic by the great Nina Simone. The kid's interpretation is so mature, generic, deep and with a facility of different pitches of tone that combined with perfect emotion that should have been lived, not only interpreted. What a great tribute a young singer could give a songwriter! A talent not too often seen in the entertainment industry. The kid has brilliant voice control. And how old is she?

Imagine a group of musicians doing the rehearsal of this song and get to know who will be singing. A 10 years old girl. Many of then will get mad, underrated thinking that is below their abilities. Angelina Jordan starts singing and all those feelings turn into perplexity, not believing what is coming from that tiny girl.

The absurd situation when she 7 years old sang the "Hungarian suicide song" - "gloomy sunday" in Billy Hollyday-version. The English was far from perfect - but she gave us jazz -and she gave us the soul of the song. Afterwarrds she owned "the norway got talent" , and whos winning was not up for debate. She is a piece of art, but does not seem to know, because she "just wants music"

Petra, I know this was recorded some time ago and I am glad that you were finally able to get it uploaded. You have have no idea what you have uncovered in Angelina. She has a beautiful voice and I love the genre she has chosen, where Grace is compared to at least 20 different voices over the last 50 years Angelina has a unique voice and the only voice tones that come close to her to me is maybe Pearl Baily and a touch of Peggy Lee

I agree that Angelina has a unique voice, but I know of no artist alive that can touch her when it comes to versatility. Angelina can cover so many artists better than anyone else. Nobody can do Amy, Lana, or Adele like Angelina can.... and that's just 3 of the over 60 artists she has covered. Grace is amazing, but there is nobody that can compare to the level Angelina is at.

@@RustyShacklefordChannel I wasn't really comparing them, I was pointing out that people are always opining who a singer sounds like and Angelina doesn't have anyone that has a similar voice. The singers I compared her to died quite a while ago. When a singer becomes big then the record co. look for similar voices to make money off that following

@@Calers-gu1ib Yes, the way I have heard it put... "Angelina can cover anybody.... nobody can cover Angelina" But really, she could be compared to whatever artist she is currently covering. She has an ability to capture the essence of other artists, while still giving it her own sound.

@@RustyShacklefordChannel I only accept that because she is so young, lots of years ahead of her to develop her own style. Rich Little could do Frank Sinatra perfectly and he decided to keep doing Frank and Sammy Davis jr rather than do his own singing career, retired quite wealthy

@@Calers-gu1ib Rich Little... wow there's a blast from the past. The difference is Rich little did impersonations. He was trying to sound just like the person he was impersonating. Angelina doesn't seem to try to sound just like the original artist. She just tries to incorporate some of the vocal characteristics of the original artist into her own interpretation of the song. It's a fine line that she manages to walk beautifully.

At 5:14 you said "Girls rock". I couldn't agree more. There are four girls now who, it would seem, are getting to the level of professionalism in their teen years: Alma Deutscher; Amira Willighagen: Angelina Jordan; and, Ankudinova, Diana. Diana is indeed a good singer with a spesial voice,but most of all it is rather weird.I have listen to many of her songs,and she is singing well,Angelina are not only singing,she connect to you emotionally,and you can say at soul level,and you are not only hearing her sing,you are feeling it. I have never felt the same with Diana or with the so called great singer Dimasj.Its only Angelina I can listen to all day and every day
