She sang this as part of a Republic Records Christmas celebration in 2021, just before turning 16. The song by Lauren is soooooo beautiful, and Angelina takes it to another level with that gorgeous voice of hers.

Angelina's new EP came out today. I have listened to two covers (originals). They are absolutely stunning. So very proud of her she has worked so hard since she was so little. May our Lord bless her she deserves every blessing. Loved You Say I have watched it often it is so uplifting and fits her voice amazingly. Thanks for the reactions. Not Adele!!! , She could not even come close to this one, IMHO

I'm not sure why anyone would be offended by you guys or anyone saying that there are influences of other singers in her voice. Of course there is. She like all of us listens to music. Every singer draws inspiration from other singers they grew up listening to. I have every confidence that she does not take offense to be compared to singers like Adele and Amy Winehouse. I hear Amy in just about everything I've heard her sing, which is not a bad thing. Amy was a unique truly creative artist. As usual she did an amazing job and you can tell she is genuinely singing to honor those who have supported her. That's a class act. Hopefully between that support, her maturity and sense of self will help her avoid the dark trappings that took too many artists, including Army Winehouse from us far too soon.

What an amazing cover, stunning...Angelina is the worlds best cover singer at the moment, this is out of the question. But how will she progress to the best original song artist ? At this point, and this is not surprising, the quality of the songs she covers is so great, and her original songs are good as well but not in the same ballpark. Hence, she needs access to songs like this in order to get to the top. Very few musicians can sing and write themselves at the top level, that is the most difficult task.

Yeah, I mean man, I wonder if she even know what this performance feels like to anyone who's ever said beautiful things to her. The song and her performance are so moving I bet without that even. With it it's honestly overwhelming in every way. No wonder it's fan favorite with the beautiful things Angels say to her.

I discovered Angelina a couple of years ago and frankly there are no superlatives nto describe her. The compliments seem pedestrian compared to her unique talent. Her ability to interpret songs is unreal. At 7/8 she’s opens her mouth and sounds like singers 35 years older. I don’t believe this can be taught. Her instincts for tone and phrasing at that age defies logic. It can be argued that she often outshines the original version. Angelina is a gift from God and I’m so thankful to be here to witness her presence. I sincerely hope that she has good management and avoids the pitfalls of so many other great artists like club 27.

I've already liked and commented on your Andrew vid from a month ago or so. He has the talent and the voice and the personality to make in a tough, tough biz. Guys, we can hear the sound of many, many artists past or present in her voice and when you put them all together we hear the distinctive tones of Angelina Jordan, a soulful voice with a hint of jazz, a storyteller supreme radiating love which our hearts cannot resist (since she was 7 years old). Impossible? Crazy? Incredible? It is a reality and it is what it is. Btw, for this Christmas Special the people at Republic Records gathered musicians to play behind her whose resumes were so glowing you could never imagine how talented they are and who they played for during their illustrious careers. At the end of the Show each one of them was interviewed and they were asked what they thought of Angelina. In their own way each one of them said she was the best singer they had ever heard in their lives and there was no question she would become the biggest star in the world very soon. And they acknowledged she was a pleasure to work with and there is an aura of brightness that surrounds her that reflects the love in her heart. Another little tidbit is when Quincy Jones first discovered her he said she reminded him of Michael Jackson and that no one had ever come close to the vocal and artistic abilities possessed by both of them. One more: David Foster, the famous producer and musician who has always been on the lookout for talent in very young people openly stated Angelina's version of 'What A Difference A Day Makes' at an outdoor gathering at 8 years is the most astonishing performance he has ever heard by someone so young.

"You Say" is a huge Christian music hit by Lauren Daigle. Angelina's version, performed at the end of her 2021 Christmas concert, is remarkably similar to Lauren's performance. Indeed, there exists a mash up of the two!

You missed this one! Angelina gave a livestream concert in December 2021 - age 15! This was a bonus song at the end of the concert. The whole concert was incredible, with jazz musicians from the past, had played with Frank Sinatra, Etta James and many more. Produced in the Republic Records studio in LA, with the studio director, Rob Christie as MC.

Angelina's voice accompanied by such music legends is something you guys should check out even if you can't react to all the classic songs she sang, giving them a whole new meaning and jazzy feeling. Guys, this was the last song she did for her Christmas Concert in 2021. She was fifteen. It was my very favorite of the concert. The reason you haven’t heard it is because they didn’t release it until recently as a single from the concert (which you had to pay to view online). BTW, she wasn’t talking to her fans in the song, she was talking to her God.

The reason you haven’t heard or seeing this is because it was a live Christmas show on KZfaq, but you had to buy a ticket to tune into it . The live show was absolutely amazing. It was really so exciting knowing we were actually watching her live . On the songs she sang was just spot on . She was 15 hear she’s not 17. Angelina is the greatest female singer I’ve ever heard. The musicians backing her on that show total more than half a dozen grammies combined. Old hands that were with many famous names on tour. They all met her the first time and were totally impressed. She did a powerful version of Bohemian Rhapsody and five xmas songs on the show (Jingle Bell Rock, Have yourself a merry christmas, The christmas song, Let it Snow, White christmas). Amazing performance.

You should listen to the original. Angelina sang this very close to Lauren daigle's original version. At times it would be hard to tell them apart. But as we all know Angelina always adds a little something extra !!!

BP's, this perfomance is in the top 3 Angelina songs that have elicited the deepest, most enduring emotions from me. Please put on your reaction list one other of my top 3, Angelina's rendition of "I'll Be There" at an important charity event (of course) in Sweden at age 8. She sang despite a bad cold and the change in her voice made it even more effective, I believe. 🙏

Lauren daigle released this song. 5 years ago. It peaked at no 29 on the billboard chart also charting in other countries , it was a huge Christian radio hit . to date her official video has 305 million views . Angelina and Lauren sound remarkably similar there's a mash up of the 2 and its difficult to tell them apart .

There is a tendency to forget just how good Angelina is when you don't hear her for a while, and then you hear something like this. I looked up some very famous singers of the past and, yes, singers like Aretha Franklin, Petula Clark, Shirley Bassey, Cher, Karen Carpenter, Whitney Houston, Amy Winehouse - These are the women she stacks up with, Angelina really is that good . . . And she was 15 . . . And I liked the detail from that Vermeer behind BP1, get some class into the show. The Christmas show was just put on line a few days ago, so you guys are cutting edge as usual. You won't find many people agreeing that this sounds like Adele, in fact it sounds almost identical to Lauren (you can hear differences, of course, but you have to listen carefully). Nevertheless, Adele was part of this fabulous concert. There was a lot of talking between the songs, there was a question and answer session and one question related to inspiration: Q: Who is your current inspiration and role model? A: My ins.. like for as in like artists I would say Adele. I really look up to her, her music, the meaning of the songs that she writes about and the storytelling.

This 2021 virtual Christmas concert was not publicly released. It was promoted and sreamed to those of who spent the $32 or so fee. Sadly, very few people tuned in. This song audio (minus video) leaked out a few months ago. With no obvious resistance, a video version appeared a couple weeks ago. In the past week, pa1189j, a superfan, has posted all the Christmas songs plus an edited version of the entire show. Much of it was interviews and shop talk with the five legendary musicians they brought together as the live band behind her. The "You Say" music is from a backing track.

She is a combination of Adele & Amy Winehouse in this particular song. However, she is Angelina, her own amazing talent. What a compliment to thise singers that she has that voice❤

Absolutely wonderful, as was the whole concert. Just released, it made it a bit like Christmas in July for we AJ fans! Check out "Bohemian Rhapsody" from this event. She may have topped her AGT performance! Thanks guys ☮️🎵

The entire Christmas concert with Republic Records is now on KZfaq. Even if you don't react to the whole thing, you might enjoy the Christmas song classics. AJ has a sweet spot for the holiday and often performed Christmas songs in various venues. Missed her seasonal songs this last holiday, but maybe for this coming Christmas, we'll get more AJ festive cheer!

Oh and you should also go see Lauren Daigles stuff also she is a great singer song writer!!! If any one has and influence on Angelina Jordan let her know we want her to do another Lauren Daigle cover called "Thank God I Do" ,,,,, I'd live to she what she does to that song !!
