Yeah, I’m in my seventies too, and Angelina is absolutely the best singer I’ve ever heard. I listen to the 50’s and 60’s channel on Sirius because “modern” music (mid 1970’s and later) has very little I want to listen to. Angelina appeals to us older people because she can sing anything beautifully, and she exudes class and restraint. She can be easily compared to many of the great female singers, but none of them cover the musical territory Angelina does. Jazz, ballads, blues, soul, pop, r&b, and even some c&w-all with her signature style and vocals. I’ve never heard any singer that I wanted to hear everyday until I discovered Angelina about five years ago. Honestly, I can’t remember the last day I did not listen to Angelina sing. I’ve heard many of her songs hundreds of time. The best comment I ever read about her: “Angelina’s voice is like a drug.” And I’m hooked. I’m addicted.

I'm 72 now and came across Angelina's Norway's Got Talent performances a few years ago. I was in a sad place because I wasn't able to see two of my granddaughters (who I had been helping to raise) for a couple of years. For me, Angelina held that place in my heart until the girls returned. She doesn't know me, but I feel like a grandmother to her. She is an incredible person with an entirely unique talent.

Hi Sebs, I do that alot with angelina songs. Cuz she changes words combines words and shortens words to fit in a verse correctly shes a genius. In her song summertime I first listened to it she tryed to do it with a southern accent and the part where they say the cotton is so high, Angelina says the curtin is sigh tryin to be southern about it. I kept asking myself, What is she saying ? that dont make any sense. The curtin is sigh ? Then I looked up the lyrics to summertime and it was the cotton is so high. Thats very smart on her part to combine the two words to sigh to save time. I could never do that with norwegin words yet she doesnt blink an eye about doing it in english like that. shes so musicly smart about things it blows my mind. I have never seen any adult with her music smarts as of yet and Im 66 YO, Dolly Parton has always been the smartest person I know in music and probaly still is. Wouldn't it have been nice IF she sang this song with, say HARRY CONNICK JR.??? That's what she really needs to do. She needs to collaborate with and learn from legends that are still ALIVE.
