Few people notice that in the lyrics, until the end of the song, she is talking about someone else (a girl, she, her, etc). Then in the very last section she is singing about herself (me, my, mine, I). I thought that was so brilliant.

You do know that she wrote this, right? That’s what she was doing at the beginning of the video, giving the song finishing touches before recording it. This is one of the songs on her “It’s Magic” album that was released when she was twelve years old. KORK accompanies her, and every song on this album is, in fact, magic! I really appreciate your genuine reactions to Angelina and always enjoy them.

I think you will find it was Forsvarets Stabsmusikkorps who were celebrating 200 years of existence and asked Angelina to perform for a CD which became her classic "It's Magic".

A wonderful creation by Angelina both lyrics and the music. Very nice arrangement by record producer and orchestra condactor Bjørn Morten Kjærnes, and a great great video by Kaleidoscope. Quite a masterpiece in so many ways. As always: - GREAT reaction. 🤗👍

Great reaction Jesse. Angelina's choices for how to sing a given song, from a layman, are beautiful and everything is intentional to convey the story of song. This is why I say, Angelina is my all time favorite singer storyteller.

She wrote and directed this just when they were moving to LA, so it really shows how much she loves her home country. Absolutely beautiful. Her EP came out today and we have already listened to two songs. Outstandingly beautiful. May our Lord bless her and bless her career that she has dedicated so much to. What an amazing young lady. ❤

This has always been my favourite at heart I think. The very start I think was where she wrote the song. Then recording in the studio. The Sean where they show the band and Angelina. This is the Norwegian armed forces staff orchestra. They also invited Angelina to be the magical voice for an Album called ' It's Magic " they made of I think 17 songs. I think it might of been Angelina's first Album. This album is stunning, almost brings tears to my eyes talking about it. This album was sold under the Armed forces orchestra' S name. Mostly I think because Angelina was to young if that was the case. At 11 or 12 years old. It is now on Angelina's Official you tube channel, and on Spotify, I guess others as well. This vid finishing with the Concert seen was a concert for Norway, to celebrate the finishing of the Album. This whole concert is amazing. Can be found on one of the youtube Angelina Jordon fan channels. The is another really well made vid of Song Oslo, showing Oslo and different parts of Oslo at the different parts of the song. @@Beldvlmnt she wrote this song she may have had help scoring the music aside from the melody line, but this was her second original song. Her first was, 'What Is Life?' which the other two musicians that played with her helped on. Thanks for this video and review. It is a great look at her creative process from composition, to finished performance. And we don't often get to see her playing the piano which is also very nice. Your review included just the right amount of awe and befuddlement. It's how most of us feel.

Awesome reaction and a lot of vocal coaches said she was A Master at 10! I believe at 11 she became the Master of Masters and just keeps getting better. That famous question is always asked; How? When she is 25, 10 years from her prime, think about it, is the best Singer to Bless us ever, God Bless!

I absolutely LOVE this song! After all these years I still can't get over her voice. And those runs! Not to mention the lyrics: the stars, the snow the reindeer and the Atlantic "Sea". I have to laugh, though, because after practising her English pronouns at the beginning she still gets them wrong in the song! "It's Magic" she says, and it is - and it is the title of the album.

This song hasn’t gotten nearly enough attention. It is so beautifully written, and yes, by Angelina about her home town. It pulls at your heart strings, and being sung with an orchestra only makes it all the more beautiful. It brings tears to my eyes. There’s another clip of her playing this on the piano and singing the whole song-really impressive when you realize she is also the arranger. Love it and her!

FYI, Angelina actually started to write this song when she was 10 on her way back from visiting LA California and then she finished and fine tuned it at 11. She has truly been blessed. On that note very strange about what seems to be a delay or lack of real info about the release date of her EP. Her teaser of one of the sings was over 3 weeks ago. In it she announced that the EP was coming out “very very soon”. About a week ago she posted another teaser video with the caption “are you ready for this song”. Then a few days ago on Instagram clicking her picture linked to a photo of Elvis blowing a bubble with the caption “I have the EP release date.” It was removed the next day with no date or further info. A little odd.

Not sure why she isn’t sharing the release date if she has one. Is she not allowed to yet for some reason? In her teaser when she announces the EP she says that she can “finally” announce it.

Great reaction. This is one of two originals from her first album It’s Magic (the other is What Is Life) released in 2018 but I believe recorded when she was still 11.

Angelina is a master to use her magical unique voice! She is born to sing and perform. She not only sing, she goes in to the song's world and put there full of emotion❤ 2014 One of the NGT judges said after her Gloomy Sundays performance, You are a music and this is more than true. I'm followed her career and been her big fan since 2014 when she won NGT contest! Gloomy Sunday, Bang Bang, I'm A Fool To Want You, Summertime and that's it! Thank's very well done reaction!

I'll be there. Everything Is booked. To get to see her in this intimate venue is a dream come true. Soon she'll be filling stadiums and these kind of opportunities are going to be rare if ever. Didn't think it would happen until I ran the numbers and this opportunity presented itself, the stars seemed to align and I am so grateful. Can't believe there were still tickets available and still are. I would have thought they would have been bought out the first day. Never dreamed it could happen. I figured I'd have to wait to see her in a stadium someday with 50,000 other cheering fans. Dream come true. Now I know I can die a happy man whether it's tomorrow or 20-30 years from now. Hopefully the latter because I want to see as much of her journey as possible. ♥👣🔥

I've listened to and enjoyed all the "greats" of the 20th century and the few who popped up in this century. I've heard and loved dozens of the most beautiful songs, scores, arrangements, etc., ever written. But THIS SONG, "OSLO," written by an 11-year old Norwegian girl about her beloved hometown, in my opinion, has GOT TO BE in the most beautiful and heart-melting TOP TEN OF ALL TIME! And that very last high note just rips my tear ducts out every time! Angelina Jordan is a musical enchantress!

I pity anyone who comes from Oslo that are far from home. They would tear their heart out to mop their streaming tears. The nostalgia reminds me of a grandmother who left her country because of war and lost family, friends and possessions and never returned... She's 11. On a lighter note, I'm busting to hear your tech insight on the recording side of Angelina's brand new stuff. I know you won't disappoint, you always have a gem or two for us lay people.

I remember the first time I heard this and I thought what a nice cover. Then after doing a little research, I found out that she wrote this. That kind of surprised me. I was really impressed that this was all her. I'm definitely curious about what other music she has written that hopefully she will record and release to the public. She's so talented On a side note, did you see America's Got Talent last night? A wonderful story about a 27 year old singer named Lavender Darcangelo who is blind and autistic who received the Golden Buzzer from Heidi Klum. This lady could give some serious competition to Putri Ariani. I really like her voice. I will definitely recommend her to others who don't know about her. The EP is overdue, It's late, was supposed to be out last month. What's up, I've been suspicious of the industries handling of Angelina all along. Is she and her family still in control? I pray LA was the correct move for her.

On the Republic website there is virtually no info on Angelina other than her picture with no social links. I don’t think there was anything about Love Don’t Let Me Go at all. Million Miles used to be on there but I don’t think it’s there anymore. Maybe too old.

Bel, you know how you're always thinking she can sing 2 notes at once? I just watched a reaction to this song by the opera singer Peter Barber kzfaq.info/get/bejne/r8CanMSix9jWhok.html At about 16:00 he casually discusses how SHE SINGS A SUB-HARMONIC AT ONE POINT IN THIS SONG like he's accustomed to analysing that in opera. It's about the first chorus i think, you can't miss, he talks about it quite a lot.
