We are REALLY looking for to quickly getting to see your "lounge-singer" Aunt to SEE Angelina and hear A.J. for the very first time. She Antique Store version on "Funny Valentine" would serve this purpose well. Somebody with the technology knowledge needs to show that in three adjacent screens (you, Angelina, & Aunt). Watching "first Angelina experiencers" melt at her singing has become one of my favorite online sports. I tripped over an Angelina performance about 2 months before her initial AGT American first appearance.

Love your enthusiasm for Angelina! Yes, she is definitely in a league of her own. I think she was about 9 in this one. She also did one at 10 while sitting on a chair at home. It is also pretty spectacular, her joy at singing is so heartwarming. Even if you don't react to it, go watch it on your own, it's awesome!

I don't know of any other vocal prodigy. Of course there are many people who teach themselves to sing, like Angelina did, but I don't know of any who were as skilled at such a young age. Her music teachers, beginning when she was 4, taught her basic music theory but were wise enough to not do anything with her vocals. Back in the day, about 1980, I got to see Ella and Basie in concert. Having grown up on mostly rock and roll, I was left speechless. Still a night I will never forget. Her voice was like no others. Angelina has this habbit, she takes ownership to the songs she performes. Even THIS song, not simple AT ALL to sing. Despite that, and despite the pianist got a bit "taken" by the performance, and as I see it, "overflowed" a few sequences during the song, Angelina (9 yo) managed to controll the performance and told us: - "this is my song now". So she did a new version for the following Valentines-day of 2016, and yet again her wonderful "grown" version for this years (2022) V-day.

Thanks again for a fantastic reaction. When I first heard this I was amazed by how she did this at 9, it was not easy as the pianist and the saxophonist played it in s rather free-form jazz style. A lot of people did not like this version as the rythm and notes are not polished(structured) as you hear it in most version. But I was impressed and thought that she will probably create the best version of Valentine before she turns 30. Angelina needed just 7 years before she did just that (at 16 years old)!!!!

Her sounding very much technical is like instinct to her... She does things technical her without knowing it. All she knows is she's that good that she wanted to impress Simon Cowell.☺️

That point you made about if you have a good inner metronome, you can go out of the beat and come back, I never heard that before, but it really makes sense. But we Angelina fans are frustrated because the world doesn't see that, at least not yet.

Yeah, she's not a show-off thats just not a thing motivating her. We can learn a lot about rethorics from that lil girl. Beeing subtle can be much more powerful than belting out loud at the top of your lungs all the time.

Shaker, PLEASE, when you think the timing is right, you MUST listen to the version she did when she was 10 sitting in a chair at home. The 9 year old version you just played was very nice. But the background music with the sax just didn't fit. The 2022 version is her sophisticated version and, in a word, is spectacular. But, the 2016 version, when she was 10, well, Shaker you will understand what I mean when you watch her sing it.
