Musician of this caliber do not play with children, they just don't. Angelina is only a child in age, she sings way beyond any age. Her ability is far more than talent, many people have talent. Angelina has been blessed to bless her listeners with touching heartfelt music that soothes the soul.

Dashy always put me in a good mood when she starts laughing. Once again Angelina not only looks like an Angel, she has the voice of an Angel. Angelina's arrangement of "Summertime" shows her ability to change the tempo of the song to enhance her angelic voice.

I just lover your infectious laugh, Dashy! This arrangement is actually very close to how George Gershwin wrote it. The KORK orchestra is very special in Norway and you have to be invited to perform with them. She was invited twice, the other is Back To Black. Ten years old and singing all over the world. I love to come back to these early beginning performances of Angelina, ages six thru nine, for the pleasure of falling in love with her and that glorious voice, all over again. Here is a list from Rusty Shackleford's channel that covers, chronologically, years 6 thru 17. The first six, at her youngest, are absolutely stunning, and set the stage for you to lose yourself down this beautiful rabbit hole. We all know she will be fantastic on the album she is about to release, but it pays to go back in time and live in her growing up years--there is so much beauty and wonder there. Your reactions are very playful and enjoyable to watch and I appreciate the obvious love between the two of you. This was recorded in the Spring, hence the Crown of Flowers are a sign of Norwegian celebrating it's arrival if I remember correctly. And it never fails to bring on... the 🌧️....

Compared to her final performance on NGT, she slowed this way down. I love her NGT performance, and for an 8 year old prodigy, it's Amazing. But this performance at 10 years of age is just Astonishing. Basically, it's as good as I've Ever heard this classic song performed. I'm just blown away by the nuances she introduces in this version. And her range and control are just Incredible. And of course, her tone/timbre is so captivating. I give the 10 year old a "10" on this one.

Sorry to disagree, but her voice is so much better developed and pure here and her control is just amazing. At age 8 she was great, but no where near this level of perfection on this song. At age 8 she did perform my favorite song of all “What a Difference a Day Makes”, so I get where you’re coming from!!

fast blinking and eyes rolling back and closing are AJ drifting into total mental consumption by the music to the point she is no longer using her eyes, this is where her creativity comes from and being totally consumed by what she is remembering of the music and what she is creating

Among the artists it is considered an honor and awards to receive an invitation from KORK. Once again, Angelina (10y) proves her musical talent. e pluribus u-num With all the gimmicks that are used in what is known as music today it is so refreshing to come across a being that does not need auto tune, lightshows, dancers, outrageous costumes, bands, or orchestras to cover their weaknesses because she has none. AJ can perform a Capella, or with one or two instruments to follow her lead and give you chills with each performance. I have always enjoyed all genres of music, and being 75, I have experienced the best the industry has to offer, from the early 50s, to 2023, but I have never been moved emotionally in the past anywhere close to what Angelina Jordan does from 7 to 17. When I heard Celine Dion perform in a tint in Québec when she was a child, I predicted she would be the next world superstar, and the rest is history. Celine did not sign a record contract until she was in her early 20s. David Foster, who made Celine a star flew to Norway after Angelina wone NGT and tried to sign her, but her family wanted to stay in control of her future. Angelina, at 13, appeared on AGT and getting worldwide recognition signed with the largest record company in the world at age 14, Republic Records. The story is that Monty Lipman, the CEO personally signed her even without meeting AJ, he was shown a video of her performance. Angelina Jordan will be the next Super Nova very soon. I agree with you about the gimmicks used for recordings. I understand the use of such things to achieve ' perfection ' for a recording however one feels a loss of the rawness of a good performance. That's the reason I'm hooked on the buskers of the music world. Cold air in the throat, no acoustics, no studio trickery, just whatever the performer can deliver at that time, including stuff going wrong and crowd intervention. Enthralling stuff. Angelina is a rare talent, world class and near the very top of my personal favourite female vocalists.

Angie has sang several times and all different as always. Hahah...you guys are to funny...KORK is the abbreviation for Kringkastingsorkestret, the stellar Norwegian Radio Orchestra which for most artists is a privilege to perform with, but in this case the privilege is theirs to have Angelina sing with them....and she has on several occasions.

Loved the intentional break AJ put on that next to last sentence of the song. This is an example of her not doing too many growls but mostly clear voice. After she turned 11 she did "Song for A" which you may not believe is a girl and not a woman singing.
