There is a bit confusion among people to what event this is. This is not the Nobel Peace Prize Concert which is held indoors each year (except when viruses stops it) honoring the Peace Prize winners. This is another arrangement to honor the winners (in 2014 Kaylash Satyarthi and Malala Yousafzay), arranged by "Redd barna", the Norwegian branch of "Save the Children". It is called "Save the Children's Peace Prize Festival" (Redd Barnas fredsprisfest) and is an opportunity for children to see and honor the Peace Prize winners. As you may notice, a great part of the audience is children, and the hosts of the arrangement are also children, interviewing Angelina after her first performance filling the time while the audience is waiting for the price winners.. The interview goes as follows: 4:30 Interviewer: "Angelina, it was very nice, but you are barefoot today. Don't you freeze?" AJ: "What did you say?" I: "You are barefoot today, don't you freeze"? AJ: "No." I: "Just why are you barefoot when you are singing?" AJ: "Eh .. Because I'm singing for the children who has no shoes and for those who are poor" I: " How old were you when you gave away your shoes?" AJ: "I was six years old" I: "And how was it winning Norways Got Talent?" AJ: "It is a dream" I: "Thank you very much, Angelina Jordan!" The VIP's sitting in the left red coach at the entrance of Angelina at 5:09 are : The Mayor of Oslo, Fabian Stang; the Crown Princess of Norway, Mette Marit, and her two children, Princess Ingrid Alexandra and Prince Sverre Magnus. And those in the right coach are of course the Prize Winners.

This performance followed a gig she had in Sweden. It had to do with children bullying, She caught a cold but insisted on performing because it had to do with children's charities. If you noticed she performed this in her bare feet and the production crew in charge gave her a little carpet to stand on and even a little heater to keep her feet warm. A real trooper at 8 years old! Of course, the first song was a rehearsal and when the dignitaries showed up it was the real thing and you could see Angelina take it up a notch with the second performance. Thanks for your reaction. Next in her time-line is her televised performance of The Jackson 5's 'I'll Be There'. The reason I mention this is because of her Nobel Peace Concert and her not wearing shoes in the cold became ill and it was suggested she not perform but she still insisted on doing so because it was for charity. All I can say is if I could sing like this with a bad cold I'd be ill every day. She has later performances of this but not with the tenderness and emotion shown. The amazing piano and string orchestra backing her bring tears to my eyes every time.

She was so little her and her voice was already out of this world. And she was stick her and still was amazing. She is a 1 in a lifetime talent. 👏👏👏👏👏❤❤

Again, thank you again for a meaningful reaction and supportive words. It is a sincere treat for me to witness one generous female child singing for another famously generous female Nobel Prize recipient who is herself quite young. It is no surprise to me that the Royal family asked Angelina to perform at the environmental summit years later.

This and the performance which follows it seem, to me, to lack some of her "secret sauce", perhaps the cold, her having an illness, or a difficult phase in her growth. Fortunately she has entirely overcome whatever was afflicting her and is again the best singer bar none on the planet.

I do in deed agree with your observation that our young generation gives us hope and a positive attitude of the future. Like Angelina, who makes so big impact to us, using our moment of attention to sing love and wonderful world. We as adult can just facilitate such positive vibes from the young’s. Never underestimate children’s capabilities and will.

This was outside in early December. It was very cold and Angelina was barefoot. She caught a bad cold. Her next performance was at a charity concert in Sweden a few days later. There she performed Michael Jackson's " I'll Be There ". With a bad cold and sore throat, she performed anyway with strong objections from her mother. Angelina said it was for underprivileged and orphaned children and I'm doing it. She raised millions of dollars that night for those organizations. It shows the character of Angelina even at 8 years old. There is hope for the world.
