Quincy Jones, who among other things once arranged for MJ, said the same thing. He specifically asked for Angelina to perform at his 85th birthday party at the O2 arena in London. ... I grew up on the Beatles and heard this song so many times that I wasn't all that interested in hearing even Angelina sing it. But, you turned me on to this performance, and I am again appreciating what a beautiful song this is. ... Another really informative reaction. ---- all the best

When the Beatles sang this, the lyrics were about loss but the tempo and energy were closer to excitement, so there was a disconnect. The original lyrics were about a boy not knowing why his girl left, but Angelina turns around the lyrics and sings from the perspective of a girl sent away and not knowing why. She brings the tempo and feeling into alignment with the altered lyrics. Additionally, masterfully performed.

quincy said angelina was the best since michael..he was introducing angelina as his little daughter during interviews at his 85th bday concert. angelina recently said that she considered quincy her best friend in the music industry...angelina was in a hotel room standing beside quincy singing acapella and he just shook his head and said so much soul...

@@ThatSingerReactions I don't know if you have heard anything that Daneliya Tuleshova from Kazakhstan has done, and you may not even come close to agreeing with me, but she has that something in her voice that compels me to listen. I love Angelina and have since she was the little princess in the white dress and the black hair that was style by a tornado. And she can certainly draw out my emotions with her singing. But Daneliya does that and more to me. I have always maintained that Angelina is special and deserves all the shine she gets. What surprises me more is that many people don't even know Daneliya exists!! So I just want Daneliya to have a chance to get on people's radar. I do the same for Angelina. I feel these two young lady's are going to be special in the future so I'm going to give you a link to the song I think shows what she can do with a song. Angelina is 6 months older than Daneliya and I've been following both since November 2017. I have a little theory about the shopping cart. I think that being pushed around by mom in the cart when you are a toddler is maybe like a 'safe place' happy memory to a young girl like AJ. So, as part of longing for yesterday, it would make sense for this song. I could be way off, but it was just a thought.

Another Theory, she showed some days ago a preparing of a conference room, decorated in her red flowers and with mirrows out of 7th heaven. Maybe a conference for her worldwide release. Today she in Las Vegas and send us a new stylish leo stage outfit. Maybe they send her for a show to test her stage presence. So the shopping card symbolized her as new product for the music business. Yesterday it was easier for her. But she wants to sing for the whole world and her dreams seems to come true She is ready for this, but she looks underrated because of her age

You nailed comparing Angelina to Michael. Quincy Jones, who produced the album Thriller (best selling album of all time) said she was the best young talent since Michael. The best! Quincy requested Angelina perform for him at his 85th birthday celebration concert in London. Trivia time: Frank Sinatra also hired Quincy to arrange and conduct his second album in 1964. Please, next time react to "Million miles" (B/W version)when she was 14 years old. It is an original song from her dedicated to her dead grandfather. Very emotional. Many must share my request. She has one of the most underrated voice of our generation. Insane amount of control, vocal range, the rasp, volume control, the emotional story telling. Amazing song. Best regards. She not only has on/off switches for things like rasp, vocal fry, vibrato, etc, she must have rheostat dials where she can adjust the intensity of each of those while singing. She just has an incredible instrument!

Michael Jackson was a quick learner and I saw a video of him singing at age 10, which frankly was not very impressive. He certainly improved a lot by age 11 when the Jackson 5 had their first hit, I Want You Back. By age 11, Angelina was already an accomplished vocalist doing a 14 song concert. Angelina has set the new standard for what is possible by a child vocalist and is by far the most accomplished child vocalist of all time.

Thanks for the beautiful reaction. It's amazing how Angelina manages to change the very flavor of the songs she reinterprets, she seems able to change the ingredients of the musical recipe and give a completely new life and flavor to each song, she is simply extraordinary 💛 💜 ❤️ Her slow, scratched voice on this song makes the lyrics much more understandable and emotional. She always manages to fill words with meaning, the way she declines the simple word "yesterday", transforming it into a whole vocabulary of implications, is unreal.

Even though this is such a laid back version, Angelina keeps you on the edge of your seat because you’re waiting to hear what she does with every line. The vocal breaks, the little runs, the unexpected note, the vocal fry bending into a clear note. She gives us that lazy, sultry voice, but every now and then just leans into a note and effortlessly reminds us what’s in reserve if she wanted to use it. Nothing flashy here, but putting Angelina together with a truly beautiful, melancholy song is all that’s needed.

Just her and the piano. Beautiful. But, I have heard her sing in front of a full orchestra and the orchestra, with all it's splendor, gracefully took a back seat and allowed Angelina to rule the moment. Whenever you see musicians with her playing in live shows or even in rehearsals, the smiles on their faces are evidence they are enjoying listening to her as much as the audience.

Grew up in the Beatle era and always loved this song, never really did anything to me until now. The way Angelina sings this song it has an entire new life to it. Paul McCartney famously dreamt the melody of this song long before any lyrics was set to it. The Beatles used to call the tune the 'Ham and Eggs' one because the words matched the opening notes. Its the most widely covered of all The Beatles songs.

She reminds me sooooo much of Stacie Orrico. And it makes me sad Stacie didn’t really get the credit she deserved. She recorded her album Genuine when she was 12 and wrote most of it herself. Did you ever used to listen to Stacie? She’s so much better than Stuck and More To Life let the world see. You should look up the songs from Beautiful Awakening on KZfaq. Great interpretation of a classic but sadly too short. I'm huge of AJ she seems this innate quality of always making what ever song she sings her own. I agree with you she is unique. Pretty sure she sang that in a studio first and then did the video in one take with the audio. Pretty sure she didn't sing and this was playback. Thats what every artist do nowadays..
