I feel like I'm the only person who sees Shane beat Ed for beating his wife and doesn't feel bad for Ed. He got a good taste of his own medicine and he is an absolute waste of space on the site, so if Shane wouldve beat him to death, I dont think it wouldn't been that sad of a "tragedy".

“that makes you almost as bad” ?? Shane was beating Ed bc he was abusing his wife but Ed was beating Carol for simply having a good time with the women and refusing to leave with him. How is Shane as bad as him? Ed deserved a taste of his own medicine 100%

he was "tracking" the deer... he didn't leave it behind. he shot it and and the deer took off because it wasn't an instant kill. therefore, he was tracking (following) it till it died.

Honestly I defend Shane beating the shit out of Ed, even if he was just venting because of Lori, they should've let him continue.

To be fair to Shane about the telling Lori Rick died thing, it's a pretty logical conclusion to make that a guy who has been in a coma (for days, weeks, months?) probably died when zombies came and likely wrecked the hospital he was in lol. So I wouldn't say he "took advantage" of Lori. They even make a point of showing Shane and Rick's conversation at the start of the series showing Shane encourage Rick about his marriage when things were going bad. I always imagined what happened with them was one of those 2 people mourning find comfort in each other type things. Unfortunately Lori has Rick to go back to now while leaving Shane in the wind with nothing. Not even a relationship with Carl. Hence, the lashing out on Ed (who I don’t really sympathize with tbh)

And shane lashing out on the guy in the end is fair because lori just basically told him to back of her son and he cherishes that relationship. He’s angry and taking it out on him. She threw him to the side when rick came back and acted like is his fault for her sleeping with him. He like any logical person assumed rick died, no reason to believe otherwise. He was in a coma so i don’t understand the whole “took advantage of her” when in the first episode he encourages rick to fix his marriage.

The character development on this show is amazing, especially considering how many characters they have to flesh out. Some may think the series is about zombies, but that's just the setting of the story. It's really about these characters and how they deal with all the traumas & dramas along the way and how that affects their ever changing relationships with each other.

You do remember that Rick was in a coma right? Shane gave him the flowers after he git shot in the heart twice, then Rick woke up to dead flowers, a bed in front of his room and the zombie apocalypse. Shane genuinely thought he was dead since the hospital was in Atlanta (the city that was overrun by walkers). Any logical person would think Rick was dead

I've watched season 1 of TWD 20 times and it never gets old, but watching it with you brings a beath freash air to it.

Angelina, so innocent and unaffected by the show like we were back then. I don't think, Angelina, will handle the season mid season finale and season 7 premier.😈

To be fair to shane, that Rick is alive is a miracle xD them an was in a Coma while the world was falling apart, thinking that he died in the hospital is the most logical thing xD
