That was a brave steal by Ohtani I like him because he never give up That’s his style since NPB Fletcher did wonderful job too It was fun game to watch 2 rookies flip the game

Homers are more dramatic but to work a walk from an 0-2 count then get to third base before the next batter has even taking a hack yet is a big time play from Ohtani.

One of the reasons he was often injured was that his growth hadn't stopped yet (Especially knees). I am happy that he is finally able to stay healthy in 2021.

best part of that is how Puig slowly went for the ball after the bobble to try and make fletcher go home to "show off his cannon" (same thing Cespedes used to do) and he short hops it...amazing

Wasn't a bad throw, looked like the ball hit the seam where the grass meets the dirt and took a funny bounce. Pitcher watching the play unfold standing by the catcher, he is to blame for not backing up the play.

Jansen and Grandal have some work to do. Jansen doesn't know to back up home plate some how because he is too good to do it and Grandal cannot throw or catch all of a sudden. Puig does not have to skip the cut off man every time. He has been doing that for years. Roberts doesn't know to send out Honeycutt with Jansen struggling with his control obviously.
