Six years later, this song still gives me shivers down my spine every time I listen to it. I wish Angie would give us more music like this instead of the trance music she's doing now as Zealyn. I want this song played at my wake.

I adore this song! I just wish the official single wasn't so different from the original song/performance that Angie performed on American Idol. That performance had so much soul it brought me to tears... this version seems a little stripped of soul and there is just something less magical about it. :-(

How is this song not getting major airplay on all types of stations? I remember when she sang it the first time thinking it was going to be a top 10 hit and then never heard it played after the season ended. It's better than 99% of the songs getting played on the radio now.

I came across this song last year at a show choir competition. I was really going through something rough and when I heard a group do this song I was in tears. Not only were the vocals amazing, but you know that commercial where this lady walks into a party and everybody has strings attached to them? This show choir had that mind set. They didn't have strings, but that's how they looked, as well as having a bunch of mental baggage they were carrying. The way they presented themselves was exactly how I was feeling. And then at the end (the climax) they threw their arms down and then sung that part a Capella (no band or piano, just them singing) and I was literally in tears by the end. It was truly amazing and it really touched me. I still struggle with what I was struggling with that day, but now I know that there is an escape to it. Whenever I am struggling, I remember this song.

I am a 180lb guy, I can bench 200lbs, and I love to sing this song. I don't know why it's separated itself from so many others, but I very, very rarely ever sing female vocals because, well, I suck, I don't even want to hear it, but this I just love it so much.

Outside of the Idol competition I would never have been exposed to Angie, or Candace & Kree . They all have a different style... but that's why I can LOVE all 3! I was rooting for Angie the whole time and although she didn't win the title on Idol... she doesn't need it for her title is going to include many such as Grammy Winner.

Not only is she beautiful and angelic, she has the voice of an angel. Candice may have won but we all know who the total package is.

This should of been able to chart on itunes they robbed her because she would have done better than the winner.

Winning Idol isn't the only thing that make you a winner... Angie was able to touch thousands of lives with her voice and songs just by being part of the show.. She won.. Trust me, it's a gift to an inspiring singer to get that much face time on tv... She will sell just as many CD's out there for the right fans that love her.

The producers butchered what had (and still has) the potential to be a great song...her choice of songs on American Idol (such as Evanescence's "Bring Me To Life") proves to me that a more dramatic presentation of the song would have sounded as well as fit the character of both Angie and the song so much better. But this recording is a very sad let down :-( I hope she chooses someone else to produce her music next time - that's if they haven't hogtied her via watertight contract...

The producer of this "official" single should be fired. He/she managed to strip all the emotion out of this song. This mix misses so much of what made the Idol version so incredibly impactful.

In Portugal, I just now see only the finale of American Idol, season 12, and Angie Miller is my favorite ... The best of all .. Angie Miller and Amber Holcomb Courage Angie Miller, you are a superstar. Listen to your voice is wonderful. The producers purposely wrecked this song because they were not about to let this song outshine Candice, which it would have. The music business is so cut throat. A. I. wanted so badly to avoid W.G.W.G. again, they put a black girl through as the winner. Angie is, was, and always will be the TRUE winner of Season 12.

This is one of the best original songs ever on Idol anywhere in the world, and I loved the performance she did in the audition on the show. I love the song, but I dont like this version because the producers over did it. It is way over-produced, and you lose the emotion of the song. IMHO.
