RIP Andrea Martin 🙏🏿 The writer and background vocals to this song. For those who didn't know she passed 9-27-21. Wrote a lot of hit records- Monica, En Vouge, SWV, Fantasia just to name a few. My heart is heavy. Was a very good friend and classmate. Grew up together in Brooklyn and went to Performing Arts H.S. in Manhattan.

Excellent examples of exemplary women. I remember Natalie Cole and Nat King Cole singing together after his passing, and that was amazing.

This is a great example of respectful, artful sampling, the instrumental track of O’Jays Backstabbers is phenomenal, with some edits in bass, and looping it, but she layers it with some amazing singing
