Wow I didn’t realize sponge painting was coming back! I literally sponge painted everything back in the 90’s. And your right it hides a multitude of problems ;).

I also used an old sock in my living room to make a leather effect but that was a couple redecorations ago but I loved it! Paint is so much cheaper then wallpaper ( or actual leather lol ).

I remember doing that with my room in the early 2000s too and I loved it. We used a plastic bag too actually (scrunched up) to paint white on blue and it was a cloudy look. ☁️

I usually don't like the sponging look (I've already lived through it and my mom was a designer so we did it A LOT 😂). Buuuuut girl, I love this. Has a very botanical, almost crocodile skin texture going on.

The dark color makes the stone wall stand out much better it looks much better and more modern. When every is "bland" and neutral nothing g stands out. People should not be afraid to paint and experiment with color

Looks excellent! I love the shadow of the plant on the wall too.. We have some of those lights! I love them!!!! We also tried to get a similar toilet brush but it stopped working )the auto close) almost immediately. 😕 I'd like to try the one you mentioned!! Dusting is such a vital way to keep microplastics from remiaing in your air as well. So excited to look for the Micheals stuff. 😊 Thanks for the vid Angie!

Love the dark, moody wall color! You're inspiring me. Been wanting to paint a wall in our house a very dark navy but was too scared to go all in. Haha I think I'll try it! Also, you have mad painting skills! Didn't even use painters tape! Well done.
