My daughter Holly and I set off to do some bait fishing in the middle of town. We had a wonderful time just angling from the bank. We caught some nice fish and as always, had a few laughs.

I fished the upper ovens river between myrtleford and the dam years ago. My brothers dog came with me. Whenever he went for a swim I got a fish. Good fishing there. Trouties, murrays, browns, rainbows, maccas, reddies, greasies, carp, crays. Caught em all. Top spot. 95 cm cod biggest fish.

Thanks so much mate. Wetting my hands just helps to protect the fish's slime. The slime is like a protective coating designed to help prevent the fish from picking up infections. Damaged slime on a fish I'd like us having a weakened immune system.
