Fun Fact: Pygmy Mammoths are an actual species, they're just not Wooly Mammoths(From what I found). I'm guessing the character is based on the Wooly mammoth populations on the Wrangel Islands (An Island in the Arctic Ocean, between the Chukchi Sea and the East Siberian Sea) which were initially assumed to be a dwarf variant of the species originating from Siberia. However, after further evaluation, these Wrangel island mammoths are no longer considered to have been dwarfs. True Pygmy Mammoths are descended from populations of Colombian Mammoths on the Continent of North Amerca that swam to the Channel Islands of California EDIT: Looking back, I realize that the reason for the Mammoth girl tiny size was that it was an inverse of the Stereotypes of Woolly Mammoths being these Earth-shaking behemoths when they were actually no bigger than modern African Elephants

The Wrangel Island woolly mammoths weren't true dwarfs, but they were generally smaller than mainland mammoths had been. But even the pygmy mammoths were around 2m tall and weighed about a ton, so having the mammoth girl be tiny is clearly just for the humor value.

Meh. Ranka's sister would probably be able to go toe to toe with her in sheer strength. The honeybadger would probably be able to tank her hits until she tired herself out. And let's not forget that the chimps can use "tools" up to and including things humans invented, which probably includes firearms and explosives. Hell, even the koala could probably snap her neck with her grip strength, if given the opportunity. Then there's the naked mole rats that would be running around her feet...

I don't think people have quite clicked why Jin has so much knowledge. He's human. Even if we go with the "know your enemy" logic. He's a human. He is the apex species in terms of intelligence and knowledge which is what the show tries to display.

If you think about it, the extinction group doesn’t really need to do anything to make humans extinct with the way things are going with neither Jin or hitomi together and each of them probably going to end up with an animal, since that’s how it usually results, which results in the extinction of humans since neither are gonna be together
