Though I want to add that the members themselves have said that Jin is much more introverted off camera and is this theatrical only for the members and the fans to keep everyone happy and laughing. He’s a big mood maker in BTS and does his best to keep the atmosphere light even if he’s struggling, which he’s admitted to feeling depressed often too. Actually, it's been said a lot that Jin's on camera and off-camera personality is really different. He's an introvert and used to be one of the quietest members of BTS. BTS said multiple times that Jin's the shyest member (yeah, surprise surprise). When they go on interviews or talk shows, Jin gets loud and makes dad jokes to break the ice. Whenever he does that you can see his ears turn RED, and BTS always calls it out when they see it. This is just one video that doesn't show much of his personality - just one side of it (the 'ahjussi' uncle persona he adopts.)

Lol to provide context: that clip where Jin was yelling on the roof, all the members had the chance to go up their and rant/voice their concerns either towards each other or their bosses. Also, he's not seriously mad in any of the clips he just acts that way to make his group members laugh. Jin is often called an old man because he has old sense of humor (dad jokes and what not) and his style of speaking is kind of old-sounding too. He's the oldest member of the group at 26; while 26 is by no means "old" in other contexts, in the world of kpop it's kind of up there in age.

If i am not mistaken and an older Army than myself can clarify. Jin is the type of person to step up when needed. For example, Jungkook is the maknae of the group and originally was so extremely shy that he would even shower after the others went to sleep and almost never made it into BTS because of it. However he also being the youngest struggled being away from home at an early age. Now Jin is the oldest in the group but the baby or maknae of his family. So he can relate to Jungkook, so he took him home one weekend to his place and treated him like a brother there. So yes what you see is them ranting, screaming, laughing at the top of their lungs, but none of it is serious its all fun and relaxing for the boys, this is their usual group harmony outside of music videos. Any BTS Run show or behind the scenes video will have some aspect of this relationship in it. Someone fooling around and acting child like.

Side Note: Korea has a seniority hierarchy system based on age. They're strict about respecting people older than you. Even if they're only 1 year older. There is an exception for the workplace where the hierarchy is based on position/job title and then by start date for those at the same level. In kpop groups the hierarchy system is Leader and then the rest of the members by age oldest to youngest. The only one who can check Suga (outside of RM's leader role) is Jin because he's the only member older than him. The unique thing about BTS is their relationships with each other. And that friendship brotherly tone has a lot to do with Jin. He rarely enforces his age status in ways that he could. Which is why you'll often see people surprised that he's the oldest.
