Ive always had the feeling that companies that own pubs have a very discrete team of lets say fire lighters...lol You always see closed-down pubs within a few months of them closing down all of a sudden theres a fire.. It happened recently to a pub in the Midlands but the local councilor wanted the pub rebuilt by the company who bought the land...but strangely that decision has now been put on hold...and I doubt it will ever get rebuilt...more brown envelopes!!

@@Thebarebones_ How many times have you seen closed-down empty pubs go up in flames? If you did some research theres hundreds that have ended up that way, some listed buildings like the one I referenced in the Midlands, were sold to land developers, and then a few months later they go up in flames...lol connect the dots . 🤭🤭🤭

@@Spookynum1 Yes thats the one. I know the council did step in and say it had to be rebuilt, but then that was put on hold as the devoloper wanted to speak with the local council. I dont know if things have changed now and it does have to be rebuilt?

Same allegation made about the Fun House on the Pleasure Beach. It wouldn't surprise me at all if you are right, arson is a hell of a risk to take with the criminal charges that could follow, but it seems to happen so often and these fires are rarely explained but very convenient.
