This song. Makes me feel so happy and so sad at the same time because of the people I know. And that's a good thing. Angus and Julia send so much emotion into you, in the sense that when I first heard this song.. I was like: "hold on, who is this?" And my mate was like: "Angus and Julia Stone, don't ya know?" You know you love a song when first time hearing it makes every hair on your body stand to attention. Absolute respect right here.

Sei bem como é essa sensação de ouvir uma musica esquecida depois de anos, principalmente se ela estiver atrelada a algum relacionamento passado. E como se seu coração se enchesse de felicidade com as recordações daquele momento, mas ao mesmo tempo, essas lembranças recebem um toque melancólico. Mas ainda assim, no fim das contas, acaba sendo uma nostalgia doce, um sentimento acolhedor.

This is amazing. The way I interpret this is, their "heart beats slow" is just doing something that is them, they don't feel any indifferent; it's who they are. That's what they do, and the other party can't keep up. Maybe she's about having a good time and he isn't, but he clearly loves her. was stuck in my head from playing on work (target) cd. Looked it up cause the man sometimes sounded like Paul Kelly. Surprised when i found who it was. They've been watching Animal Kingdom & A place beyond the pines, point break & pulp fiction obviously. I never liked their music much, but they surprised me here by doing something different & it was the song I heard first not knowing anything else.
