Good movie with a good story and good screenplay. it could be called a best film of Raj Kapoor acting talent. He did well the role of a lawyer and lover effortlessly that is unmatchable. Nargis has double role as two same face sister with dramatic background story and she played the role ok ok only. the songs and music was an average, no song to Remember no music is melodious. Nargis never looked very beautiful as compared to other heroines of that era, But some critics always put her in the list of Madhubala, and others beautiful actresses which is in my opinion was quite wrong and False. she always kept boy cut hair and her face was very broad. she got acting talent no doubt but she never looked so beautiful that you can compared with the iconic actresses like Madhubala, Nalini Jayvant, Padmini and vaijanti Mala etc. In this movie also she performed well but not outstanding. the script went deep down when she changed her sister as herself to sacrifice and Cheated Raj Kapoor to get married her spoiled sister. this is the main drawback of the screenplay and it looked very very absurd and illogical. Khwaja Ahmad Abbas was a great great great director but in that point of time he even didn't think how far the exchange of sisters will go after marriage. so ridiculous idea that you can't believe at all it looked very funny, idea it did not justify the main idea of the plot. the camera work was great. the dialogues are good. the main surprising fact of the movie is the acting of Om Prakash as a villain, it is one of the rare movie when he did play a role of villain with a comic touch and he played it very beautifully and gracefully. Agha was a big disappointment. The Other actors are ok. this movie can be watched for the marvelous acting of Raj Kapoor the Great, and for different role played by Om Prakash.
