It was an honor for me to write the light musical background (the arrangement) of this beautiful song for Rabbi Carlebach. When I was a boy, his music inspired me to play guitar. His music got me through some hard times. He was a great man.

Rav Shlomo Carlebach played a major role in my youth to make me go always deeper into the secrets of the Torah. He brings a holy atmosphere and moves the hearts as deep as raising in them a real thirst for G-d. אין מילים! תודה! באמת ניפלא!

You can definitely hear his heart . This was his voice , his style of performing . I can close my eyes and know it's him : what a loss . Zecher Tzadik L' bracha .

Beautiful song. Shlomo endowed us with so many wonderful and moving melodies. I enjoy the choir and flutes too.
