Obviously, any new company needs to have a positive scheme to show to the public. Some companies do it and hide their immoral acts on animals. Nevertheless, lets compare neuralink to tesla and space X, they're all founded by Elon Musk. I am pretty sure they all share the same human morals they've proven and shown so far. As for the Intel shown on this video, youre right it might not have been accurate since it has been edited to not show actual information, but to show how well they care for their subjects. You want actual intel, go watch the live footage they showed today in their live presentation. They show the whole team who's on this project too, so iam sure they're credited.

While I love the idea of neuralink and understand the need to use animals as subjects during development, please set up an environment where these animals can see the outside world. Even if they are treated great when it comes to human interaction, it's abusive to deny them access to the outside world. Knock a garage door sized hole in the facility and set up a grass/trees/bushes deal for them. Sunlight, air and the sky are a right to any sentient creature.

As the future becomes reality it is so important to remember the moments when history is made! I’m not sure if this is a positive pathway for humanity but I feel incredibly optimistic thinking about the possible repercussions for all industries because of this scientific breakthrough. It’s intrinsic now in any biological testing to understand the vital role of compassionate support to any test subjects, be they human or other, and support your ethos that carer fatigue exists and must be managed for the benefit of positive scientific outcomes.

Not to sound overly hug giving but this device in animals will unlock way more than just a checked box for safety. A better understanding of animals brains will undoubtedly lead to a better understanding of animals in general. Their feelings, their instincts, their intentions. As odd as this sounds I truly believe this will allow us to tangibly communicate with animals in the future. Pigs are extremely smart the Wizard Era will be an insane time to live for all those not just being born. When our dogs can telepathically tell us they’d like their belly scratched or to go to the park. Crazy stuff. As always Elon provides hope in a otherwise dark time to be alive.

From 1960 to 2020, there was no real development in science, but from now, we must expect anything that is possible. I think it helps smart people in life more than others.imagine We can record dreams and inventions in video form. Regarding surgery, I think it is very easy because we can connect nerves to each other, and this happens naturally as a result of some biological substances in the body, but this is a foreign body, the body will form antibodies against,I don't know how to solve this. Finally, good work. This is what we want in the future. I have always dreamed about this development since I was young. Alaa I'm young inventors

Alexander Markland being spectical about a new tech doesnt mean I dont have a proficiency, I just think about humanity as a whole not personally. Think about gattaca and instead of genetic eng. put trans humanistic devices in it and you’ll understand me

Alexander Markland oh, okey. I mean capitalism has its own flaws too, would you say that every rich really “contributes” to society? For example reality show producers :D Capitalism doesnt care about development of society as well as it cares about profit, maybe Im tripping I dont know, time will show. (Also my gattaca example was about capitalist system, obviously you didnt get it :D)
@agape_99
@agape_99 3 жыл бұрын
Alexander Markland Yeah logically yes there’s a contribution by entertainment, can you earn hundereds of times more than an average scientist by entertaining people? Yes. Why? Its all about reaching the majority of consumers who will get what you produce. I dont really support a system that solely based on this equation, maybe you can say I support authocrat control of quality of this contribution to humanity with respect to our kinds development and commercial value of which it correlates to in our system.

I very much applaud Mr. Musk on this impressive undertaking but do the ends justify the means? My hope is some day in the near future we'll all wake up and see that animal's aren't commodities but our friends.

@@Daniela-pr7rz Exactly! I really hope that if pets can really be heard, fewer people will want pets. They are not interactive toys for us to snuggle. They are conscious creatures who have almost zero autonomy in our society. Who would adopt a pet if they heard them say every day how lonely and bored they are while we're at work? Or how they resent not getting to make any choices about their own lives?

@@ofconsciousness We don't need them to learn to speak to understand that they suffer, and i really hope this company really treat animals in a good way, i hope this isn't just marketing. And there is a part when they say that they give the pig the opportunity yo have a choice, but, did he have a choice when he was bought by elon musk?
