Video of Animal Crossing for Nintendo GameCube showing interesting and amusing moments that happened as I played the game. Queenie and Tom's umbrellas vanish as they fight and make up, I spot a huge fish shadow in the river that isn't what I expected, Kabuki wonders why he went camping when he seems to hate it, Puck tries to tell me that he's really good at basketball, Candi tells me the surprising place she hides her fruit, Ozzie pushes me around, Cupcake replaces Queenie for the 2nd time, I pitfall a pair of sheep, and more.
Most of these clips were captured in my main town of Forest, but a few were from my secondary town, Aja Blu.

Using a penguin for a basketball? xD I'm surprised that Cupcake moved in after Queenie moved out TWICE! Just be glad that Ursula wasn't too bad for calling her outfit "ok". Otherwise you'd be one unfortunate soul. And of course it wouldn't be an Animal Crossing Moments video without any pitfall shenanigans. Great video as usual, Jeff.

I love how the animals in the old games love to be nasty and roast you but in the new horizon games they don’t say much and are too nice

There were two Belles in town and that is why there is only one left. Kody had taken the skull for himself and the whereabouts of the rest of Belle #2...remain unkown.

*Hooray* GameCube moments are back once again, I enjoy this series so much because it's a classic Animal Crossing game and for obvious reasons, it's still worth playing right now, also I still check my town regularly. I remember in my town Valise was holding her umbrella and I went from one acre and back, then she was standing still but she wasn't holding an umbrella. Also, Kody was holding a cow skull and Belle wasn't in the clip, so maybe Belle was murdered by Kody... Also, why was Ozzie pushing you, is he blind OR he was thinking that he can walk through you because he thinks he's invisible. Also, I'm surprised that Queenie and Cupcake replaced each other in Forest in 2011 and they returned, I didn't know about that feature, along with (Yucky) Yuka. Also, I used Ursala's catchphrase "unlike you" but I told Fang to say it lol. And to end this with a good note, the pitfalls are always unstoppable because it's Forest and no one can beat that. Fantastic gameplay Jeff you've made my day and I'll be sure to watch your posted and upcoming videos everyday including your other Nintendo ones too :).

Watching Jeff's ACGC adventures makes me miss the sheer amount of dialog options that villagers used to have. (And how sassy they can get too) For the last couple of Animal Crossing games, you could read almost all of the villager's dialog in about two weeks. I was hoping that it would change with Horizons but alas, all my villagers only want to talk about is them seeing me bury bells.

I never met Cupcake, because this is a rare villager by her personality and species, it's sad that Cupcake never returned from Wild World onwards. Thankfully, 15 years after Animal Crossing had no snooty bear cub, Judy debutes in New Horizons, but a substitution of Cupcake. A rare story about villagers in this franchise.

I have fond memories of playing AC on the gamecube, I only had my gamecube for 1 year since it was a hand-me-down and its cool to see the bright and nostalgic graphics again :)

This makes me wish I had the GameCube version... I know my sister’s played it at a friend’s house before(apparently they played it before City Folk came out) but I’ve never actually played it. There are so many cool features and villagers that aren’t in the later games!

GameCube's clock runs out in ten years, so not that, but it's still my favourite in the series...so it's a hard one! Wii, the grass wear is unbearable. DS doesn't have enough to do. 3DS, probably not. It's a good game but the villager dialogue isn't the best. I'd have to go with Switch, since it's continuously getting new updates and new features added every couple of months.

@@Frenposter You can still play Animal Crossing GameCube in 2031, just set the GameCube/Wii clock to 2025 and it will have the same calendar. The day and month are mentioned the most, not the year.

So sad how the gamecube version's internal clock only goes for another 10 years. That's still a ways away, but what will we do then? Go back to 2001 like everything is normal?

That's just the way it's been for me in this game. 13 of my 15 villagers have been around for over 10 years.

@@jvgsjeff woah really? So that whole "original 13 stay while the 14 and 15 villager will trade out" thing is actually true? I mean maybe it's still to early for me to see a pattern (as I've only been playing since August) but I'll for sure be on the lookout for it.

I don't know if it works that way for every town, but it's been that way for me, for over 10 years. I used to do some train traveling, so maybe that has affected it somehow, but I don't know for sure.

Am I the only one that doesn't really like the camera angle in New horizons? Instead of being up or down I wish it could have a third option and be about halfway between the two. Also another nitpick why is it missing features that were in the GameCube version almost 20 years ago?!
