These two guys have great comedic timing together. Jarod consistently warns Conan of the consequences just AFTER Conan does the action to provoke it. Like, "Don't grab him. He'll bite you."

@@slothbro2740he wasn’t exactly hating, he just wanted to keep up the fast paced nature of the show to keep ratings up and make sure the audiences don’t get bored when it airs. He was far more looser on his TBS talk show and when he shifted to streaming and podcasting. He’s a smart fella and respects the smartness of his audience and did not want to bore them with the animal facts you find on kid shows. Most people know most of the facts the Jarred guy has from his animal planet shows. That said, they did keep interrupting/talking over each other to keep up the chaotic nature of the show.

I don’t think anybody realizes this, but Jarod was a comedy genius using animals. His timing when giving Conan information or when having Conan do things with animals and then inform him of some dangers. 2:22 onwards, is my personal favorite he convinces Conan to go and scratch this lemurs armpit to just 180 with “do you feel the nipples” like what? 😂😂

After enjoying these videos for years and years, I'm starting to feel bad for Jarod because Conan is always ripping on him. Almost ever episode he ends with "well, I learned absolutely nothing" and "you're the worst animal guy ever". Jarod seems like a good dude. I feel like Conan was a hyper child. He reacts before being told what he should and shouldn't do. Sticking fingers in wild animals mouths probably isn't the smartest thing to do. I get it that it's all for entertainment though, possibly scripted. lol
