Animal Farm" can be construed as an anti-communist as it severely criticizes the way communism was implemented in the Soviet Union by the Stalin. But it does not necessarily reject the ideas of equality and social justice that is the prime object of communist ideology. But the triggering point of this novel is cruelty of Joseph Stalin in Russia.
